JUST A FEW SUGGESTIONS:
 Have you completed your college applications yet? If not, you might want to get started. To have a better chance at
scholarships for new freshman, you need to meet each school’s scholarship deadline. For some schools, that dead-
line is right around the corner! Set a goal to get those apps finished before December!
 Watch out for SCAMS!!! Do not get hooked by phone calls, however official sounding, that ask for a fee or even
your bank account information in return for help with grants or scholarships. These are people trying to steal your
     hard-earned money!
 Don’t expect us to do ALL of your college and scholarship search legwork for you. We give you what we can and
are happy to help. However, to increase your chances for success, you need to pursue outside sources as well.
