        The Common Sense Show

        April 23, 2014

The times we live in are perilous. Our way of life is under direct attack and
Armageddon could be thrust upon us at any time. There, I do not have the
time mince words and I will be clear, there is an overwhelming chance that
your pastor is not your friend.

                                       Pastor Greg Tucker
I recently condemned pastors who support and lead churches who “enjoy” the
501-C-3 tax exempt status offered by the IRS. This prompted Pastor Greg
Tucker to publicly criticize my stance on this issue and he demanded to know
what pastors I was attacking. This article will make it clear who I am attacking
and why the vast majority of you who are reading this words need to leave
your church if you truly value the salvation of your soul.

Pastor Tucker has seen fit to take me to task for my comments regarding my
advice for all Christian believers should leave their church if that church is a
tax-exempt 501-C-3. Pastor Tucker said “…Not sure which pastors you are[5/3/2014 12:44:26 PM]

implicating, but I would suggest not including ALL pastors in your expression
as you have in this article”. Pastor Tucker, let’s be clear. I am implicating all
pastors of 501-C-3 churches. Are you such a pastor who is endangering
        the salvation of your flock?

        From Pastor Tucker:

“Point of emphasis…Not sure which pastors you are
implicating, but I would suggest not including ALL pastors in
your expression as you have in this article. This is a
wrongheaded assumption. This pastor for one has spent the
last two years bringing my leaders congregation along in
developing a watchful eye of what I see coming; occupying
(words of Jesus) our space; time in the way He leads us to do
so. So to lump me as a pastor in wrong headed assumptions
like you have here is a big mistake. For me it invalidates your
message. Makes me raise the question, “What other wrong
headed assumptions are you building your argument on?” And
I’ve been an avid reader of your posts for some time now–but
will reconsider this, maybe I was the one making a wrong-
headed assumption myself about you; your message.
Disheartening to say the least–not all pastors; churches fit the
picture you paint of us; you should acknowledge such. Tactics Rep. Gowdy: 'I Have Evide

                                                             The modern interpretation of
                                                             Romans 13 is pure blasphemy.
                                                             This scripture has been morphed
                                                             into a doctrine espousing the
“Divine Right of Kings” in which
God has somehow chosen a king to ruthlessly rule over a people and it is
incumbent upon the people to accept their “God-given fate”, The flock are
commanded to “…submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no
authority except that which God has established.” This false interpretation is
nothing but a divine coronation of a ruthless, self-serving government and
Christians are expected to capitulate and honor the same kind of thievery,
lawlessness and murder which inspired Jesus to expel the moneychangers
        from the Temple.

What Kind of God Would Do the Following?
As I contemplate what many of the churches will be like as they embrace a
perverted interpretation of Romans 13, I am left wondering what kind of God
would condone the horrific abuses being perpetrated by the Obama
administration? What kind of God would command its religious leaders to
simply ignore the American Holocaust which has witnessed the murder of over
50 million American babies, since Roe v. Wade, in 1973? What kind of God
would not have its clergy and its followers fail to condemn the bankster
controlled wars of American imperialism which have resulted in the
unnecessary deaths of millions of human beings? What kind of God would fail
to command his clergy to not speak out and to condemn the actions of the
criminal money changers on Wall Street, who inspired only by the love of
money, continue their heinous assaults upon humanity in the form of unlabeled
poisonous GMO’s, the theft of solvent home mortgages by the mega banks,
and the secret detentions and the murder of American citizens under the
NDAA. What kind of God would order his followers to remain silent as the
bankster controlled government plans to commence a world war starting with
Ukraine in order to support the preservation of the Petrodollar which will result
in the potential death of billions of human beings?

In actuality, no God of the Bible would ever command his followers to both
enable and to serve the evil which permeates our government. For any church
that encourages complete obedience to a corrupt government has taken a big
step towards accepting the Mark of the Beast. This is a very dangerous
precedent, and this could potentially imperil the salvation of millions if
Christians allow this false doctrine to expand across our nation’s churches. To
Pastor Greg Tucker, in answer to your question, I condemn all purveyors of[5/3/2014 12:44:26 PM]

this false doctrine which is a perversion of the Bible.

                              The Clergy Response Team
Many of your 501-C-3 pastors have gone so far as to put on the uniform of the
enemy. The Clergy Response Team falls under the umbrella series of
programs known as National Voluntary Organizations Active in
Disaster (NOVAD) which is a non-profit, member organization which shares
knowledge and resources throughout a disaster. The organization helps to
prepare, respond, recover and to mitigate the damage caused by some
unknown disaster presumably which lies in the future of humanity.

Amazingly, NOVAD claims to be a faith-based coalition which is structured as
a non-governmental organization and operates on a national scale and is
supported by tax dollars funneled to DHS.

Instantly, Bible believing Christians should smell a rat. Since when, in the
modern era, has the federal government ever sponsored organized
religion? The answer is not since well before the advent of the atheist activist,
Madalyn Murray O’Hair, who was successful in banning prayer in the public
schools in 1963. Then why would the government suddenly fund and support a
“faith-based organization” on a national scale? The simple answer is that
Homeland Security is seeking to control our churches and ministers, before the
impending train wreck comes to fruition inside of America. DHS desperately is
seeking to control all Christians through the perversion of Romans 13 and this
is one of two cornerstones in this movement designed to control Christian
leaders. And this government foothold into the control of our churches begins
with accepting the 501-C-3 tax exempt status which gives the government
license to control the message and to ultimately pervert the word of God.

Pastor Tucker, I condemn all men of the cloth who would lead their believers

What Is the Root of All Evil?
God-fearing Christians must wonder why so many of our religious leaders have
forsaken the religious roots of their obedience to the word of God and espouse
an unquestioning faith in government. The answer is surprisingly simple as
every Christian knows that the root of all evil is the love of money. If your
church is a 501(c)(3) organization, then your church has a significant financial
motivation to not truthfully interpret the true message of the Bible. The tax
exempt status of being a 501(c)(3) organization is the other cornerstone of this
shift away from allegiance to God and towards worshiping our new Savior, the
        federal government.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, no substantial
part of a religious, tax exempt church may engage in any
activity which may be attempting to influence legislation[5/3/2014 12:44:26 PM]
Why Your Pastor Is Not Your Friend | Dave Hodges – The Common Sense Show

and the church may not intervene in political campaigns.
In other words, if the government decides to secretly
disappear dissidents, the church must remain silent or
risk losing its tax exemption. If the government continues
to expand its infanticide policies by extending the murder
of babies to include post-delivery abortion, then the
church must remain silent. If the government engages in
any heinous, genocidal act, such as the murder of 1.2
million Iraqi’s, under the false pretense of looking for
weapons of mass destruction, the church must remain
silent or risk losing the tax advantages for being a 501
                   (c)(3) tax exempt organization.

Combine the 501 (c)(3) financial motivation with the DHS inspired NOVAD
directive for clergy to remind their flocks of their Christian duty to obey their
government under any and all conditions, we are witnessing the neutering of
our most precious institution and the ultimate salvation of millions could hang
        in the balance.

                   Christians Must Rescue Their Churches
From the Clutches of DHS and the IRS
Is your church a 501 (c)(3)? If it is, then realize that your fellow worshipers
likely have a problem when it comes to worshiping in a church where the word
of God reigns supreme against all else.

The proof is in the pulpit. Does your religious leader teach from the Bible?
Does he/she apply the lessons of the Bible to daily living and does not shy
away from controversy when the actions of government violate the laws of
God? Does your church renounce evil in all forms? Does your clergy
encourage their congregations to oppose evil, by being faithful to the word of
God in all areas? Does your church organize its followers to carry the word
and the will of God to society as a whole in an effort to save the misled? Does
your pastor denounce abortion, war, thievery, murder and all behaviors which
violate the Ten Commandments? If not, it would be prudent to find a church in
which the word of God is honored and unquestionably supersedes the word of
government when the two conflict. And if you cannot find such a church, then
you can always begin a small Bible study program with a small group of

Is Opposition to Tyranny Obedience to God?
There is clearly a time when Christians should disobey civil authority. Acts
5:27-29 states that “Having brought the apostles, they made them appear
before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. We gave you strict
orders not to teach in this Name,’ he said. ‘Yet you have filled Jerusalem with
your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.’ Peter[5/3/2014 12:44:26 PM]
Why Your Pastor Is Not Your Friend | Dave Hodges – The Common Sense Show

and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than men!’ Could it
be more clear that as long as the law of the land does not contradict the law of
God, Christians are commanded to obey the government. However, if the law
of the government contradicts God’s word, Christians are commanded to
disobey the government and obey God’s law.

Today’s religious leaders who bow down to the holy temple of Homeland
Security are bought and paid for at a very cheap price. What does a church
gain by accepting a 501 (c)(3) tax exemption? Ten Percent? Twenty Percent
off from its tax obligation? This makes the thirty pieces of silver that Judas took
to betray his Lord, look like a good deal. Compromised pastors should take
        warning of Judas’s ultimate fate.

No 501-C-3 Church Can Be a Church of God
If your church does not pass the litmus test mentioned here, then find another
church. If you cannot find another church where the laws of God reign
supreme over the laws of man, then start your own Bible home study group
with a small number of believers. The latter is the safest way to worship God
        without governmental interference.

Mark 8:39 clearly states, “What will it profit a man if he gains the whole
world and forfeits his soul?” Mark possessed the courage to pay a price for
his faithfulness. This kind of faithfulness should be embraced by all who claim
to lead our congregations in the name of God.

The 501-C-3 tax exemption = 30 pieces of silver.

All Pastor’s who lead 501-C-3 churches, need to fall to their knees and beg for
God’s forgiveness for leading his flock astray through espousing the false
doctrine of government over the King of kings. According to Yahoo Answers,
nearly all churches are a 501-C-3 tax exempt status.

And finally, to Pastor Greg Tucker, I have “Googled” your background. Forgive
me sir, but you should not throw stones when you live in a glass house.

message of truth on this very, very important issue , actually the most
important in the world today ,is the betrayal of the phony professional
preachers. Again if you can pay a man to tell the truth than you can pay him
not to. The professional preachers serving two masters are and have been the
single biggest destructive force to truth and freedom in this nations history.
The most effective voices of hell are those that crawl after that thirty pieces of
silver that the Godless gov dangled in front of them , and lead by twisting Gods
word to manipulate the customers ,, I’m sorry congregation , church talk . I

I share the distress over the misuse of Romans 13:1. Perhaps this will help:
“LET every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power (in
the church) but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” You will
remember that Paul claimed direct commission from the risen Christ. His
fellows in the Apostleship (save Matthias) were ordained at the hand of Jesus
Christ. The reference to ministers of God in verse 4 confirms the meaning of
Romans 13 as a purely ecclesiastical doctrine. The application of Romans 13
to civil governments makes reason stare and no good thing comes of that

April 23, 2014 at 6:41 am does a fine job of explaining what Mr. Hodges outlined.

Keep up the good work, sir.

        Dear Dave,

This is your most positive works of art, a public message that fit’s the times
and warns the people of their fate if they continue in the path they are going.

All your works are treasured warnings, but this one is the gemstone of them all
        – I only hope thousands of pastors will fall to their knees and pray to turn
America around before it is too late. Churches control the actions of millions of
people – and in this time in history – they are in control of these people’s lives.

Thank you so much for your inspiration and the guts to share with all of us the
        way you do.

Here’s what’s gonna go down soon. A letter will go out, reminding Churches
that in order to maintain their 501 status they can’t discriminate. This will
        include sexual orientation.

Then homosexuals will start applying for pastor positions and every other
        position at a Church. Openly.

What will you do then, pastor? you have to hire the homosexuals or lose your
501 status. And that means losing your building and all your assets, since
those are owned by the 501 corporation. You can’t just dissolve without losing

I’ll tell you what you are going to do. You are going to keep your mouth shut
and hire the sodomites no matter if you like it or not.

        Or lose everything.

I’ve actually spoken with Pastors about this. I’m told, “well we’ll just forfeit our
501 status if that happens. Ha. If it were only that easy.

I have to say that I am increasingly swayed toward this position. I am swayed
toward the view that the schools, also are perverted. I was bamboozled by
Karen Hudes, after seeing a long interview video of her. I saw subsequent
videos and suddenly her message sounded very different –The Chinese and
Russians are our friends and we are all working together for a brave new

As to what kind of God would do the following, the only answer I can come up
with and probably the only correct answer is this: A God who has determined
to bring His judgement against that nation! Given that, we do not want to be
found in support lest we share in that judgement.
I suppose I would be viewed as a bit of a rebel with a bad attitude. I do not
support Sunday school nor all the programs churches have for different age
groups etc which segregate families from each other. I believe having these big
church buildings is also a trap. The early church did not have them. They met
in peoples homes in most cases.
Always remember. “where two or three are gathered together in My name,
there I am in their midst”. So saith the Lord.
I’m sure there is a lot of compromise in Canada too but I don’t know that it is
along the lines of a 501c3 situation.

        Romans 13
        April 23, 2014 at 7:19 am
Instead of believing what a pastor says, I read Romans 13 over and over. To
me it seems to clearly state that governments are put there by God period. If
it’s a good government, it’s because they are a God fearing nation. If it’s a bad
government, it’s because we’ve pushed God out. It clearly states if you fight
against the government, you are fighting against what God has put in place
(for his own purposes). One of the main themes behind the OT that is
reoccurring is when Israel turned to paganism, God gave them over to their
enemies. In some cases to the point they would eat their own children out of
hunger. This could beg the same question “why would God allow that?”. When
        Israel followed God, they prospered.

I personally still believe whole heartedly in exposing evil and their deception.
Getting the truth out. As far as battling against the government, there is no
point until the country repents. Will God support a country who celebrates evil?
We all know that isn’t going to happen. Christ said his kingdom wasn’t of this
world. I often wonder why so many struggle so much with trying to preserve
this world. The octopus arms of evil are entwined through everything. You’d
have to wipe it all out completely and start over. Sound familiar?

The first clue to a church that is all screwed up should be when the pastor
says” “My Church”. Or adds: “My Congregation”. Or better yet: “My Pulpit”.

One of my former pastors…when asked a question about anything…would
always bring out his “denominational handbook” to see what the
“denominational position” would be. NOT ONE TIME did he every reach for a
        Bible. Not one.
The so called “Non-denominational churches” are worse. They always reach
for the latest “hot selling book” by some author who thinks they have all the
        answers. Or some psychology book…
There are great teachers…but you really have to want to find them. Ask God
        where to look.
One survey states that the only reason most people go to any church…is so
they can” have a place to be buried from.”

I understand what you are saying – but I have to disagree at one point. I pastor
a dominational church, we are word of God only, KJV only, and very old ways
in everything we say and do – but years ago the IRS talked the large to small
church groups to sign in together to get 501 3c status and they did. We are
one of the churches caught in the loop not all churches with the status can be
lumped and grouped together. Some of us really do not have the option now,
despite our own standards or beliefs. Don’t throw the baby out with the bath
water – warn yes, but over killing the point does not help the cause of Christ.

I have been saying this for years, it is good to see that the message from the
Holy Spirit is finally breaking through.

Pastors, what was the lesson of Samuel and Saul? The lesson of the money
changers? What was the British government more afraid of than George
Washington’s pathetic little army? The Black Robe Regiment. Where is our
Black Robe Regiment today? Bought and paid for with 30 pieces of silver…
your hypocrisies rise to the heavens, you are vipers, pharisees… no different
than in the Lord’s day! You don’t even know what Babylon the Great IS. It is
the System of Babylon, manifested in the System of the World, led by the
Greatest nation ever conceived by God. The Empire of the world, that fulfills
prophecy. The System is the statue of Nebuchadnezzar, the Head of Gold on
two legs of ideology, with the ten lost tribes divided like iron and clay. Their
minds vs their emotions, divided by nonsense doctrines that are in love with
The System, and worship the idol god Mammon. The System is Tripartite,
bankers, kings and religion, interlocked, self supporting, as ONE. The Lord’s
final battle, will become our final war.

God did not want us to have kings, because kings take the peoples minds
away from God and corrupt the whole nation. Where is Godly authority? In the
men of God. Where are the Men of God? Hiding from the evil, and trimming
their wicks, filling their lamps, selling coats of comfort and buying swords of

These are lessons forgotten in the land of feel good doctrines.

Let’s think about this: The time frame is shortly after the death and
resurrection of the Messiah. The apostles and early believers are spreading
the word that the Messiah lives and that people can be reconciled to the
Father! The word spreads like wildfire! Officials are alarmed at the movement
that is taking place. Too many people organizing like that does not bode good
for Rome; who knows what it could turn into? The Roman government decides
to establish a law that the people supporting the Ecclesia (church) can take off
the amount they give from the taxes owed to Rome. All that the early
Assembly has to do is register with the Government and send in the
information of who gives what amount. Do we really think the apostles and
local ministry would fall for this or go along with it? I just really don’t think so.

questions and could not answer them. It is unfortunate that there is no one
around that are “like minded believers”, but not being under the influence of
those that blur the word of G-d, I am able to live freely to follow Yeshua
without restraint. I believe the churches are a business and I have said for
many years now, that they should be taxed. If they handle ceasars money,
they should give to ceasar what he requires. Not ask ceasar for handouts.
Since the founding of this country, the big lie is “we the people”. They are not

One must agree with remarks posted by “Romans 13″.

Though the focus of this column is that of pastors of 501C-3 churches, much is
said regarding “what kind of God would…”. It is this last sentiment that must be

Yehovah DID turn His people OVER to evil rulers. Northern Israel was replete
with wicked rulers who followed in the path blazed by Jeroboam, son of Nebat.
Subsequently, when northern Israel was invaded, the agent of Yehovah’s
choice was Assyria, a profoundly corrupt and pagan nation state which
dispersed the Israelites throughout the area of their dominion. Judah was[5/3/2014 12:44:26 PM]
Why Your Pastor Is Not Your Friend | Dave Hodges – The Common Sense Show

invaded by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, of the same ilk as the Assyrians. And
yet, through the prophet Jeremiah, the Israelites were told to PRAY FOR the
rulers of the nation to which they had been exiled, because if that nation state
        prospered, they would prosper:

Jeremiah 29:7 ‘Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile,
and pray to the LORD on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.

Also note the “seven times” judgments to be applied to those who stubbornly
refused to repent and turn to Yehovah as outlined in Leviticus 26:17

‘I will set My face against you so that you will be struck down before your
enemies; and those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when no
        one is pursuing you.

The prophetic word most assuredly makes it abundantly clear that it is
YEHOVAH ALONE who sets rulers in place, and it is YEHOVAH ALONE who
brings rulers to their end. The book of Daniel describes this through the
        account of King Nebuchadnezzar.

Pity the poor ruler who holds to the “divine right” of kings, because that
position holds that ONLY YEHOVAH can judge kings, which is most assuredly
true. Yehovah WILL JUDGE and in righteousness and with justice. A corrupt
ruler, no matter from which political structure, must answer for all decisions
and choices. The barometer for righteousness in biblical Israel was for a king
to copy, in the presence of scribes, the entirety of the Torah (Genesis through
Deuteronomy), carry it with him always, and meditate on it daily. No ruler was
to turn to the right or left, but ONLY follow Yehovah. When King Josiah read
this requirement, he rent his clothing and fasted in sackcloth and ashes
because he knew his predecessors had not obeyed this command and the
nation would be subject to Yehovah’s fierce judgment. Judah earned a
reprieve during Josiah’s administration, but judgment followed soon thereafter.

Every time it is said “God wouldn’t” I fear that the entirety of Scripture has not
been appropriated. Read the Old Testament. Yehovah is all about justice,
whether New Testament “believers” like it or not.

        April 23, 2014 at 10:36 am
Dave Hodges, I could have not stated this fact any more poignant then you
have. the churches have attached themselves to Baal and the fools dont even
know it, and if they do know it, they dont care. You see, I used to attend a
church like this, everything was lovely, good and God loves you, this was
preached on a continual basis if when one of the senior elders was doing a
Sunday bible study and trying to bring up the things that are going on, they
shot him down and told him to stop it. their are no warnings about anything
within the glass box. Its complete Whoredom along with the congregational
members who dont want to hear it either.

        Dear Dave,
Thank you for your efforts and concern to spread the Gospel, but please do
not distort the facts as you do so. You are not giving the full text of the IRS
code regarding 501(c)3 exemptions for religious and charitable organizations:
It is also not against the law to speak out against the evil of abortion, or unjust

In any case, what is first and paramount is to spread the Gospel of our Lord
Jesus Christ and obey his commandments. Jesus said: ‘If you Love Me, you
will obey My commandments’ John 14:15. Jesus also said: ‘For this I was born
and for this I came into the world, to bear witness to the Truth. Everyone who
is of the Truth hears my voice.’ John 18:37. So lets us spread the Gospel of
        the Truth.
May the Lord Bless you and give you His Peace.

This country was founded by people in pursuit of freedom. Religious freedom
predominantly. When the British Empire tightened its grip, the outcry was
‘heard in the churches’!!! Out spoken priests, pastors and ministers ALL.
Unless they sided with the Brits. IF any priest, pastor or minister attempts to
convince me that Romans 13 is a DIRECT ORDER FROM GOD to be
obedient to tryanny, I will add the punctuation mark by punching him/her right
in the head. I cannot attend a church because when I do I feel sick hearing the
nicey nice sermon over TRUTH. AND YES PASTOR, I will call you out in front
of ‘your’ congregation. The bending over backwards to be ‘politically correct’,
because HE would, is beyond pathetic. Yes The Lord preached Love. BUT, He
didn’t say I come bringing hugs. He specifically stated He comes with sword.

Listen, all of us are responsible for this dilemma. WE HAVE ALL HAD A HAND
IN bringing this to its present situation if the following is true: (1) Have you ever
filed your income tax claiming tax deductions for charitable contributions to
your church? (2) After filing your 1040 form, Have you ever received a tax
refund because you claimed a tax deduction for your charitable contributions to
your church. Let’s not be hypocrites. It wasn’t the pastors who enacted 501c3
        status to their churches.

The Romans 13 scripture is -not- requiring us to obey and pay taxes to
ecclesiastical powers (which God ordains) but world powers ( which God also
ordains). Jesus says it another way, “Let your light so shine before men, that
they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Here ‘men’ means those that are without (i.e. outside the faith). Peter echoes
Jesus in saying, “Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that,
whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works,
which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.”

        Romans 13
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but
of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God:
and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not
be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of
        the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is
evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of
God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for
        conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending
        continually upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to
whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Pharoah put the “rule” in “Ruler” over Egyptian Jews who were forced to build
his empire. God commissioned Moses to represent Him in the fight to free His
chosen people from tyranny. Pharoah and Egypt were basically destroyed by
God in the process. Now, does that sound like God wants his children, both
Jew and Gentile, to slavishly bow down to any corrupt ruler and his/her
government henchmen? Not in any type of situation . . . workplace, police,
schools, churches, and especially not corrupt governments . . . does God want
his children to suffer under the rule of tyranny.

8+6=14 that’s funny, SAD, but funny.. Pastor Tucker, How many Gods are we
to serve? As a 501c3, when you Wed a couple don’t you have to say “By the
powers invested in me as a Officer of the STATE of – and as a minister of the
Lord Jesus Christ I pronounce you man and wife” <———– Pastor,,,, that's
two gods! Serve God Pastor or the State, can't serve them both ! There is no

Dave you have hit the mark on this one. Unfortunately by the time the majority
of Pastors and their flock realize they have been enslaved by the 501-C3 it will
be much too late. The govt is already legislating away free speech both inside
and outside the church. Just start reading the news. No more govt “manna” for
those that speak out. It’s all about the money now. Jesus threw the money
changers out of the temple but their descendants are still around.

I think a lot of people just aren’t informed enough. Tax exempt churches
certainly aren’t part of the solution. Ever since I learned about this I’ve been on
a mission to learn more. Studying a little bit about sovereignty took me great
lengths on my quest for knowledge. My wife and I got married without a
marriage license thanks to the only non exempt church I was able to find in the
whole state. The pastor is a true patriot and a man on god. Most people would
not like his sermons because he is so up front and blunt about gods word, like
it should be. There’s no bush to beat around. He made quite a few people
uncomfortable at our wedding ceremony! Some people claim that we’re not
really married but I just look at them and ask, “whose marriage is more
legitimate, a gay couple with a marriage license, or a man and a woman
without a license?” Just goes to show you how statist people are nowadays. Its
sad really. People can’t think for themselves.

Bravo Dave. You are so right on so many points that you made. My respect for
you has grown to a new level. I am sure that you know that you will be getting
a lot of backlash from the “disorganized” church. I am also sure that you know
        how to handle this backlash.
As Craig Mouldey pointed out in his earlier comment and as you have
suggested, the 1st century church made a habit of meeting in smaller groups
at followers homes. Anyone who reads the book of Acts will see that this is an
obvious key to the success of their outreach in those times. A very heavy-
handed Roman rule dominated those days just as our nation is becoming with[5/3/2014 12:44:26 PM]

it’s government now. It is time to take the church back where it belongs – in
the homes of the believers in smaller groups where the needs of each
individual believer can be met. These are some verses that show this truth
        very plainly – (Acts 2:46, 5:42, 12:12, 20:20, 28:30, Romans 16:5, I Corinthians
        16:19, Colossians 4:15, Philemon 1:2)

Outside of suggesting that God is your government, Romans 13 doesn’t
suggest who your government is or should be.

How does a government become your government? There are only a handful
        of ways.

You might have been born under and in a particular government.

You might have personally selected a government for yourself.

You might be in a hostage situation, where someone else is literally controlling
you. If so, they are your government, at least temporarily.

If the United States is your government, you do not have to remain. It might be
a job getting out of it, but you can do it. There is no law against it. In fact, you
can get out and still remain on the land, because the United States and the
President were never meant to be you dictator or king. They do NOT have the
authority to be such. But it will take some study of the law to see that the
government is not the land, and how to do this, and how to straighten them out
        when they suggest otherwise.

If you want to do this, get online and learn from people who are doing it all
over the place. Find out that you can pay your income tax bill, legally, by
converting the bill into a money order – Accepted for Value – and paying the
bill with the bill, why it’s legal, and why there actually is no other way, because
money doesn’t exist, so you CAN’T pay your bill with money.

Your pastor may not be the one who controls whether or not your church is a
501-C-3 corporation. In fact, he may be ignorant about the whole proposition.
But once he learns, if he doesn’t attempt to train the church council into the
correct way, then he must leave and form his own church if he is a good

What is the correct way? There isn’t only one. The congregation could form a
trust with the members of the church council becoming the trustees, and the[5/3/2014 12:44:26 PM]

mission field as the beneficiaries. Then, make the trust into a Charitable
Religious Trust, a 508(c)(1)(A) trust, rather than a 501-C-3. This makes your
trust tax “EXCEPTED” rather than tax “EXEMPT,” completely outside of IRS
laws. If you must use a regular corporation to receive money donations,
because they won’t allow a bank account for your trust, make the corporation a
501-C-3, and donate all the funds it receives from congregation gifts and
        donations, to the trust.

        Study. It’s in the law.

What I see is churches speaking generally about the sanctity of life and service
to the poor, praying for “our troops” and “our leaders”, but never for the Iraqis

In my opinion, churches became irrelevant when they permitted legalized
infanticide (abortion), prayer and Bible removal from schools, and
        implementation of other authoritarian/Orwellian ‘laws’.

There is NO reason why the churches could not have opposed these hellish
measures. Even now, church leaders only give lip service to these matters, but
none take their entire congregations to the State and Federal Government
Houses to demand that these insidious assaults upon both God’s laws and our
own Constitution be stopped. Nope, it’s much easier to just cash their
paychecks and keep Christ’s flock lulled to sleep with doctrineless songs and
sermonettes, and sports programs to replace prayer vigils.

Much prayer, much power. Little prayer, little power. No prayer, no power.
Any guess on the where the American church is on the prayer barometer?

For the reasons you have listed here, the authority of the church has been
removed and given to the Sons of God. For those who can hear, they know
this to be true. EVERYTHING that is wrong about the systematic church will
be reconciled by those who are chosen for this time and season. They are
beginning to know who they are. There is much reason to rejoice.

The complacent, systematic church chewed up and spit out every single
believer that God sent into them for the last 30 years. Do you think God will
hold them guiltless? NO! Do you think that God will hold the believer who
voted for an abortion candidate guiltless? The guilt of many politicians is upon
the heads of those who complied through fear or for personal gain. Will the
cowards inherit the Kingdom of God? No, they won’t. When I realized this, I
repented of my support of even right wing candidates that operated the war
machine without mercy. Restoration of our nation starts in the church. It is
wholly accountable for the sin and the destruction because it rejected its
        mandate to exercize authority righteously.

The tithe was designated for the poor & downtrodden of the church. Today it is
used for salaries & buildings, while Jesus said he would not inhabit a building
        made by man again.

The 11 apostles that were left picked the 12th apostle, Mathias. The self
appointed 13th apostle Paul is a false apostle who presumptuously took the
        title “apostle” to himself.

Jesus told the military man that He wished that His group would obey like the
        military group. Which means:
        1. The military group is not in Jesus’s group.
        2. Jesus’s group is disobedient.

The only large group that has not been judged is the military. But I believe
they are in the process of selling their soul also, because they are going along
with the wicked management of this country.

This makes sense to me, except for one thing. When we pay taxes to the
federal government, we are contributing to the largest, most heinous criminal
syndicate in the history of mankind. Our money funds mass murder and rape,
torture, the poisoning of all of humanity and the destruction of our
ecosystems…. So it seems to me that each of us has a moral obligation not to
fund this enterprise, however we may achieve that goal. It is not clear to me
how a church could resist funding the government, and still operate, without
taking advantage of a tax-exempt status. Perhaps their financial operation
would simply need to be small enough that there was no tax involved, or they
could break the “law” and risk the consequences. However, thank you for this
article — it makes the conflict of interest quite clear.
