Many servers were configured to use Solaris Live Upgrade to patch while server is live, & reboot later to take effect, reducing downtime. Automated pulling patches from vendor site & improved patch cluster by adding checks to eliminate attempt to install patches that don’t apply to that server. Automated patch reporting to centralized repository, for quick reporting to security teams. • Earned reputation for consistently streamlining operations & reengineering processes to increase efficiency & decrease costs; analyzed issues & recommended process improvements to achieve positive bottom-line results.
