member countries representatives had their
first session from 13-14 December 2006, and
the second one from 29 May to 1st of June

DATA QUALITY –
AC RECOMMENDATIONS
AC RECOMMENDS: Participating Member
Countries should ensure that their data is
accurate and that they update their data in
the Interpol SLTD database at the same time
as they update such data in their
national/regional databases.
Committee Action Result: The committee drafted
the proposal addressing all data quality issues that
might effect the SLTD database, and the committee
is proposing Best Practices, Operating Procedures,
and Tools designed to address these issues.
HIT CONFIRMATION AND POSITIVE
HIT FOLLOW-UP PROCEDURE – AC
RECOMMENDATIONS
AC RECOMMENDS: Each Member Country should
implement a process which enables its NCB or other
designated authority to provide within one hour
sufficient information to a country that is detaining a
document holder to allow the querying country to
determine whether the holder of the document is its
lawful bearer.
Committee Action Result: The committee drafted the proposal
for the legal, practical, and other realities faced by Member
Countries in implementing the above recommendation, and the
committee submitted proposition for Best Practices, Operating
Procedures, and Tools designed to address these realities.
THIRD GOAL - OPERATIONAL
