									          Computer Aided Drafting and Design
                                                  Program Description

The Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) program offers an exciting and profitable future. Students who en-
roll in the Computer Aided Drafting and Design program at Grayson County College learn the latest drafting software as
well as the essentials for a challenging and satisfying career.

As industrial technology expands, the need for technical support people also expands. Over 90% of Grayson College’s
CADD graduates get a job in the drafting field or continue their education at a four-year institution. Many students find
drafting work while completing their training, moving to even better jobs after graduation.

The CADD curriculum at Grayson County College prepares students for jobs as drafting assistants and CADD techni-
cians in many fields, including mechanical, electromechanical, architectural, industrial and technical illustration.

The Computer Aided Drafting and Design program offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree, the Drafting Assis-
tant Certificate and the CADD Technician Certificate.
