Invitation to Bid
                    All qualified Contractors are invited and encouraged to submit Bids for this project.
                    Native American Preference Applies to the greatest extent
                    feasible but all are encouraged to submit bids.

Instructions to Bidders
                    Bids must be received by the above time and date and may be mailed or hand
                    delivered, allowing adequate time for bids to be received by due time and date.

                    Only complete and legible bids that are typed or written in ink and submitted on the
                    provided bid form will be accepted.

                    Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with “Bid for 09-1572 Loop Dr. fire” and
                    the Contractors Company name clearly written or typed on the outside.


TERO Plan
                    Bidder must submit with its bid a compliance plan listing General Contractor,
                    Owners/Partners, Core Crew Employees, Subcontractors, and any other positions
                    available to be hired out of the TERO office.
                    FAILURE TO PROVIDE A COMPLETED TERO COMPLIANCE PLAN WILL RESULT

Warranty

                     During the one-year period from and after the warranty date, the dwelling shall be free
                     from defects caused by faulty workmanship and defective materials due to
                     noncompliance with building standards

                     Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electric Systems;
                     During the two-year period from and after the warranty date, the dwelling shall be free
                     from defects caused by faulty installation of plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling
                     systems

                     Major Construction Defects;
                     During the ten-year period from and after the warranty date, the home shall be free
                     from major construction defects

Description and scope of work are as follows:



1. FLOORING

          Install new vinyl flooring in kitchen, dining, bathrooms, and entry way
          Install new carpet and pad in living, hallway, bedrooms, family room and on
          stairs
          Install luan underlayment where required
          Install metal transition strips as needed
          Provide all labor necessary to clean jobsite when work is completed
          All work to be done according to 2006 IBC
          Contractor to furnish all labor and material to complete the above work
          according to the attached specifications

In submitting this bid, the Bidder represents that…
 The Bidder has examined all the Bid Documents. To include Bid Form, Scope of Work, Specification, and Fond du
     Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Tribal and Federal conditions.
 The Bidder has visited the site and is familiar with the specific conditions under which the project will be
     constructed.
 The Bidder understands the federal, state, local, tribal laws and regulations applicable to construction activities
     required for this type of project.
 This Bid is genuine, and not made in the interest of, or on behalf of, an undisclosed person, firm or corporation.
 This Bid will remain in effect for 30 days after the day of Bid opening.
 The Bidder acknowledges that the Owner has the right to reject this Bid, or all Bids, to waive irregularities in the
     bidding, and to accept a Bid other than the lowest bid.



 Contractor has 60 days from the “Notice to Proceed” to complete all work

Permits and Fees
                 Contractor will include all required permits and fees required to construct the project


Home Owner Instruction
                 Collect and deliver all warranties, manuals, parts lists, etc. for delivery to home owner
                 at close of project;
                 Provide list of sub-contractors on project;
                 Instruct owner on operation of mechanical system;
                 Provide contact name and telephone numbers to respond to home owner questions

Specifications
General          Remove all extra construction materials, packing material, and waste from job site and
                 dispose of properly at close of project;
                 Remove packing materials and exposed labels from windows, doors, cabinets,
                 appliances, plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, etc.;
                 Preserve permanent labels relating to service or maintenance requirements;
                 Vacuum carpets and sweep vinyl floors;
                 Wash windows and mirrors;
                 Vacuum sawdust and waste from cabinets and closet shelving
                 Contractor to supply dumpsters

Substitutions    All references to specific manufacturers or proprietary products are for establishment of
                 a level of expected quality. Subject to compliance with the requirements of the
                 specifications, other equivalent manufacturers and products are acceptable with
                 approval of contract officer.
