Visual Designer

This person will work within the design team developing conceptual designs to share with business partners, designing visual assets for advertisers, business development and marketing teams, as well as contributing to the user interface of the main Digg site and associated sites. Take responsibility for developing all visual materials for our advertising, business development and marketing teams. When pitching ideas to partners, we often require realistic comps that express ideas in a way the partner will understand. This designer must be able to take and translate feedback into further explorative concepts. Examples of projects include advertising and sponsorships, visual prototypes of Digg integrations into other sites, graphic design to support events and presentations, and marketing efforts that appear on Digg and partner sites. Projects will often result in static visual materials, but may also include semifunctioning html/css examples and print materials. Assist the marketing team in designing convincing presentations. This work will largely focus on incorporating partner material and marketing objectives into the site, but may include broader feature development responsibilities.
