We hope you are planning to attend the American Farm Bureau Annual Meeting that will be held January 10-13, 2010 in Seattle, Washington. Gridiron Great Terry Bradshaw will deliver the keynote address on January 11, 2010. Voting Delegates will be at the Headquarters hotel the Sheraton Seattle and our Florida Members will be at the Hilton hotel, Seattle, Washington. Jill Garcia will handle convention reservations and room registration. Please complete the attached form and mail it with your check covering the convention registration ($50 per person for full registration or $25.00 per person single day registration) to: Florida Farm Bureau, ATTN: Jill Garcia, PO Box 147030, Gainesville, FL 32614-7030. Be sure to indicate “AFBF Convention Registration” on your check. We will confirm your reservation by mail. If your check covers registration for more than one person, please attach a list of registrants. If you have questions, contact Jill by phone, 352/384-2632, FAX 352-374-1501, or email Florida Farm Bureau members should plan to attend the Florida Breakfast at 7 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10th, 2010 at the Hilton hotel sponsored by the Florida Farm Bureau Insurance Companies. If you would like to book airline tickets through Maxine Lennon at Bruce Travel, please call her at 800-7717407. Book your flight early to ensure availability and to get a good rate. AFBF has put together some optional tours from January 8-13, 2010. The cost of the tours vary and a registration form has been attached. Tour registration deadline is December 1, 2009 but they have told us to book early as they are filling up quickly. YOU MUST BOOK THESE TOURS THROUGH AFBF AND NOT FLORIDA. For further information check out these web sites: All rooms will be reserved with a Florida Farm Bureau corporate credit card. When you arrive at the hotel you will need to give your personal credit card for billing of individual rooms and incidentals. EACH PERSON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN ROOM CHARGES. ALL NO SHOWS OR LATE CANCELATIONS WILL BE BILLED TO THE COUNTY FARM BUREAU NO EXCEPTIONS Deadline for room reservations and convention registration is November 1, 2009
