Doug’ collection of German Military edged weapons and hunting knives has been amassed over 16 years of antiquing in New England. Almost all of these items were aquired directly from the homes and families of the Veterans themselves and will be offered completely unreserved and fresh to the market. Matthew began collecting children’s militaria at age 7 when he attended his first MAX show with his parents. Over the last ten years his collection has been exhibited at military shows in three different states and featured in several trades publications. Matthew was the recipient of the 2002 MAX Charter Life Member Award.

German children’s uniform belonging to Major General Kurt Lang’s son with provenance, Child’s railway hat and signaling device; German schoolboy hat with silver bouillon, complete child’s Kiel uniform; tiny Panzer tunic; complete Hitler youth uniform with accessories; American uniforms to include: 2 star General, child’s WAC uniform, WWI uniform, WWII uniform, American double buckle combat boots and several others. 2 Korean war child size tour jackets, Vietnam era child’s cammo jump suit, pre WWI child size tunic with New Hampshire cadet buttons , several other hat, and child’s helmets, 1943 LIFE magazine with uniformed children cover, German child’s shoulder boards, German “Uniforms of the Hitler Youth” cigarette cards, misc youth photos and postcards, child’s drums, kinder poster. German Daggers: Postal Leaders dagger, SS dagger, 6 SA’s to include a Ground Rhome and 2 NSKK’s, 2 RAD officers daggers, RLB, Red cross, Naval, Forestry , 2 Luftwaffe 1st model daggers and 4 Luftwaffe 2nd model daggers ,1 DLV, 2 army, BDM knife, Of special note- a mint Hitler youth dagger with original factory tag by Puma. Bayonets to include: 1 PSS and 4 other good police bayonets, Exceptional WWI bayonet engraved to Hauptmann Faust, 3 Nazi period engraved bayonets, 3 stag dress bayonets, 1 imitation stag, Justice Official dress bayonet, imperial saw back dress bayonet, 7 fireman’s dress and 20 + miscellaneous dress bayonets. Combat bayonets with matched serial numbers to include RP, DR, Naval, Police, Commercial, serial # 2 with portapee, 1 Tropical Frog with portapee, and many other matched bayonets, Also over 30 unmatched combat bayonets, parts, and frogs, to be sold by the piece and by the lot. Swords to include: 3rd Reich SS Officers with knot, Exceptional silver fitted Luftwaffe in original tarnished condition, 2 aluminum type Luftwaffe Officers swords, police Officers model with SS hallmarks and portapee, 2 police enlisted swords 1 with SS hallmark, NCO sword, Lions head Officers sword engraved to a school, 4 other Officers doves head swords, Imperial swords to include an excellent Railway Officers sword, a fully engraved regimental sword, as well as 4 other swords with engraving.
