					SHOGUN (based on the novel by James Clavell) (Infocom) This is a relatively easy game to play, since there are comprehensive on-line hints, accessible by typing <hint>. This will tell you what you had neglected to do. The game has, while not the full ambience of the Far East like the novel, a sense of the epoch and scope of it. (I think that this is deliberate – there were only a few times in the novel when the main characters’ actions had a major impact.
