HUMBOLDT-UNIVERSITÄT ZU BERLIN

DAAD Alumni-Programms Goals of Alumni Activities of the DAAD
 maintenance of contact of alumni with each other, with their host institutions in Germany and with the DAAD
 exchange of experiences between alumni and current grantees  the building of a Network of experts and contacts in the world of international academic exchange

HUMBOLDT-UNIVERSITÄT ZU BERLIN

DAAD Alumni-Programms Principles for Alumni Matters
 alumni are partners and not “clients”
 communication is a dialogue, not a monologue  alumni affairs are “two way traffic” not a “one way street”  the effectiveness of alumni matters,
(far reaching to ALL alumni)

and the individual attention to alumni
(so they don’t feel “lost in the crowd”)

must be balanced
