Pet Supplement Firm Fulfilling “Wish Lists” of Two Ventura County Animal Rescues

Online PR News – 06-December-2013 – Local pet supplement company NuVet Labs® has announced this
holiday season that their employees will be hosting a “Holiday Pet Supply Drive” to fulfill the “Wish Lists” of
two local animal rescues: Saving Animals from Euthanasia (S.A.F.E.) in Thousand Oaks, CA and Santa
Paula Animal Rescue Center (S.P.A.R.C.) in Santa Paula, CA. NuVet Labs’ employees will be gathering and
donating essential items needed for the animal rescues such as pet food, supplements, beds, blankets,
bowls, leashes and crates, to name a few. “We are thankful for rescue organizations like S.A.F.E. and
S.P.A.R.C. that care about the health and wellness of our canine and feline friends. We wanted to make
these rescues’ upcoming holiday season more comfortable for the animals while making their volunteers’ jobs
a little easier,” says Ray Bernard of NuVet Labs. NuVet Labs employees are excited at the opportunity to be
giving back to the pet rescue community. They feel the two non-profit organizations chosen are perfect
recipients for the donations.

We are thankful for rescue organizations like S.A.F.E. and S.P.A.R.C. that care about the health and
wellness of our canine and feline friends. We wanted to make these rescues’ upcoming holiday
season more comfortable for the animals while making their volunteers’ jobs a little easier.

"We appreciate the employees of NuVet Labs for choosing S.A.F.E. as a recipient of their holiday pet supply
drive. Our rescue is always in need of extra food, carriers, beds, wee wee pads and even gas gift cards,
which has been a huge expense for us traveling from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles to visit other shelters,"
says Kelli Hopper, Founder of Saving Animals from Euthanasia. S.A.F.E. often rescues "special needs" dogs
from other shelters. These dogs are usually overlooked by the public because of their medical conditions.
S.A.F.E. successfully rescues and places dogs with birth defects, eye removal, skin conditions, trauma and
many others considered as "unadoptable" dogs.

NuVet Labs has also chosen to support Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center, a community-based no-kill
animal shelter in Santa Paula, CA. Created in 2011, S.P.A.R.C. is a shelter where homeless animals are
brought for humane care without the risk of being killed due to lack of space, illness or injury. S.P.A.R.C.
focuses on re-homing and rehabilitating animals while at the same time partnering with the community to
educate pet owners on the importance of spaying/neutering and vaccinations.

Once all of the “Wish List” items have been collected, NuVet Labs’ employees will deliver the donations to the
rescue organizations and their volunteers before the New Year.
