911 calls released following Zimmerman domestic disturbance arrest

Seminole County Sheriff's office released the 911 audio of George Zimmerman's
girlfriend's phone call to 911 after the two were allegedly involved in an altercation with
one another.

By Tom Winter and Daniel Arkin, NBC News

George Zimmerman was arrested and charged in connection with threatening his
girlfriend with a gun Monday after Florida authorities responded to a disturbance call at
the woman s home.

Zimmerman has been charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor battery and
misdemeanor criminal mischief, Seminole County Sheriff s Office Chief Deputy Dennis
Lemma said during a press conference Monday in Sanford, Fla., hours after Zimmerman
was arrested in nearby Apopka, roughly 15 miles northwest of Orlando.

Zimmerman s girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, told a 911 operator and deputies that she and
Zimmerman were having a verbal dispute, and she alleged that he broke a table and
pointed a long-barreled shotgun at her, Lemma said.

Advertise | AdChoices
Both Scheibe and Zimmerman separately called 911 one from inside the house and one
from outside and police have released audio of the calls.

In Scheibe s, she can be heard shouting at Zimmerman: You just broke my glass table,
you just broke my sunglasses, and you put your gun in my f------ face, and told me to get
the f--- out!

She can then be heard pleading with Zimmerman to leave her house, before telling a
dispatcher: He just pushed me out of my house and locked me out! She also alleged that
Zimmerman barricaded the front door with furniture, according to Lemma.

Moments later, she tells a dispatcher: He knows how to do this. He knows how to play
this game.

The Seminole County Sheriff's office released the 911 audio of George Zimmerman's
phone call to 911 after alleged altercation with his girlfriend.

When asked what kind of weapon her boyfriend displayed, Scheibe said it was a
shotgun, adding that he has all of his guns inside, both the shotgun and his AR as well as
two handguns.

Looking to clarify, the 911 operator asks Scheibe if Zimmerman has an AR-15 an
assault rifle and she replies, yeah.

In the other audio recording, Zimmerman tells a dispatcher: My girlfriend has, for lack
of a better word, gone crazy on me.

When asked why he s calling, Zimmerman replies: I just want everyone to know the
truth.

Zimmerman also denies brandishing any weapon at his girlfriend.

She's got a 9 millimeter. I have my firearms. She was throwing my stuff out. And in
one of the bags was one of my firearms. I never pulled a firearm. I never displayed it.
When I was packing it, I'm sure she saw it. I mean, we keep it next to the bed.

Later in the call, Zimmerman can be heard saying: I just wanted to leave. He adds: She s
pregnant with our child and she told me it was better if we co-parented and she raised the
child on her own. That s fine. I said, Are you sure this is what you want to do? She said,
Yes. As soon as I started to pack up my stuff and leave, she just completely changed
The dispatcher asks: When you said she changed, what did she do?

Zimmerman replies: At first she was letting me pack my stuff so that I could go we
could go our own ways amicably. When she changed, she just started smashing stuff,
taking stuff that belonged to me, throwing it outside, throwing it out of her room,
throwing it all over the house.

He also disputed the allegation that he broke the table: She broke a glass table because
she threw something on it I don t even know if it was mine or hers, whatever it was,
Zimmerman told the 911 dispatcher.

Lemma later said that the victim has disclosed that she is not pregnant.

Police also said no one was hurt and nobody else was at the house when sheriff s deputies
arrived. The deputies got inside the house using a key given to them by Scheibe.

Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma of the Seminole County Sheriff's office holds a press
conference after George Zimmerman was arrested due to an alleged altercation with his
girlfriend.

Zimmerman was unarmed when authorities entered the house, Lemma said, adding that
he appeared rather passive and offered no resistance to the deputies.

The 30-year-old was booked into Seminole County Correctional Facility at 1 p.m. He is
scheduled to make an appearance in front of a county judge Tuesday afternoon. The
judge is expected to determine what, if any, bond is appropriate.

Zimmerman is currently being held under no bond status, Lemma said.

Police are also requesting a search warrant for the home so they can look for weapons
they believe there are at least two weapons in the house, Lemma said.

"Just when you thought you heard the last of George Zimmerman," said neighbor
Catherine Cantrell. "I'm in absolute shock. He was never outside. It's not like he was out
flaunting around.

But Monday's arrest was just the latest legal trouble for the former neighborhood watch
volunteer, who was acquitted earlier this year of all charges in the fatal shooting of
Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman and his estranged wife were involved in a domestic dispute in September
that attracted police. Police said no charges were filed against either of them because of a
lack of evidence.

That dispute took place just days after Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers.

Zimmerman was pulled over for speeding near Dallas in July and again in September in
Lake Mary, Fla. He was given a warning on the first incident and issued a $256 ticket for
going 60 mph in a 45-mph zone in the latter.

It is not clear if Zimmerman has legal representation. Mark O'Mara represented
Zimmerman during his trial but is no longer serving as Zimmerman's attorney, Shawn
Vincent, spokesperson for O'Mara Law, told NBC News.

NBC News also reached out to Zimmerman's brother, Robert, but he was not in position
to offer comment.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Florida police arrested George Zimmerman on assault and battery charge. NBC's Brian
Williams reports.

He's an attention-seeker who doesn't seem to understand what rational behavior is. If he'd
just stick to interacting with his admirers instead of inflicting himself on the rest of the
population, maybe he wouldn't get in trouble so often.

On the other hand, maybe these little run-ins with the law are a safety valve that keeps

Um., Defended himself from having his skull beat in from a thug. Your innocent until

Alaskan Patriot,

If your reading of George Zimmerman's personal motivations is correct it sounds like
George Zimmerman feels a lot of people are out to get him.

I don't see that kind of victimization paranoia ever resulting in an overreaction on the part
of a guy like George Zimmerman - I mean, the black kid was out to get him because he
was black, the wife was out to get him because she's an evil, vindictive shrew, and the
president is out to get him because the president hates white people, America, democracy
and cute little kittens.
So, yeah, obviously when everyone is out to get you being a paranoid with a loaded
firearm and a documented history of not being afraid to act upon one's paranoia is
justifiable.

This is also known as the "scared shyteless of one's shadow" defense.

They are NOT the same, there was not ENOUGH evidence to convict Casey Anthony
according to the system, she was found NOT GUILTY because of this. GZ was found
INNOCENT because ALL the evidence PROVED he acted in self defense and there was

according to a jury of his peers. Black/white/Asian/Mexican had nothing to do with it
except for the idiots Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson made it count for something. The
FACTS that the jury deliberated on were that GZ was attacked by a young man, was
assaulted and then defended himself. That is what the evidence supported. PERIOD! I am
not defending GZ. I am supporting our legal system. If they got it wrong, then where is

"Patriot". Evidence for GZ being assaulted is limited to an anonymous guy saying that he
witnessed TM punching GZ. This was never verified for accuracy, entered under threat of
perjury, and on top of that his vision must have been stellar because of the lighting and
the distance.

A 13 year old walking his dog told police the opposite, that TM was on the ground. The
mother told the police the 13 year old wouldn't testify.

A neighbor hear shouting at one point, but no sounds of a prolonged fight.

Another woman saw two people scuffling on the grass and then the shot.

Another witness claimed he saw TM on top of GZ but wasn't sure if he was punching or
trying to pin him.
GZ suffered a bloody nose that may have been broken and two abrasions to the rear of his
head. This is consistent with being hit once and falling down, or a scuffle on the ground.
I've suffered worse on many an occasion with my brother.

There was some sort of altercation, that much is clear. But there is insufficient evidence
for self defense. The burden of proof is supposed to shift when such an affirmative
defense is being used. I believe that burden was not met.

As for his wife, the evidence is again muddy. However, we do know that he was in a
panic on the phone. If she was acting it was a damn good performance. I don't know why
you think she is vindictive per se. It wasn't her going top his place and causing trouble,
but the other way around. If she wanted to be vindictive she had plenty of opportunities.

This arrest of George Zimmerman, REAL American Patriot (patent pending), is
obviously an attempt by the Obama Administration to deflect attention away from the
massive ACA website failure and Benghazi.

Its kinda pretty obvious.

Few know this but George Zimmerman is actually a covert NSA agent (Code Name:
Second Helpings) who was activated as a part of a propaganda campaign against
American citizens (code named Operation Blackout) to make them give up their guns, eat
more spinach (see Michelle Obama, Code Name: Black Mamba) and adopt Lady Gaga as
their personal lord and savior.

We're onto you, Herr Barack!!

guilty, outside of what anybody can prove. We should incorporate you into a new judicial

"righties" and gun lobbyists couldn't care less about him. They were worried about the
overarching outcome that could have happened to people's basic rights to defend

BTW, it seems like George makes headlines and causes all kinds of waves for getting

Now Zimmerman knows what it's like to be profiled (or doesn't one think he is high
profile now?).

Devil's advocacy: how many posters - who have long stated that profiling of wearers of
"hoodies" and other stereotypes/characterizations are wrongful - are, in effect, profiling
Zimmerman? (To bring guilt or innocence into an answer remains contentious
speculation).

. Monday at his girlfriend's home on Topfield Court in Apopka following a 911 call.
Neighbors told WESH 2 News that they didn't know the woman was dating Zimmerman,
and they thought the man might have been an undercover cop because he walked around
like an officer.

Neighbors said his truck had been parked in the neighborhood for about a month.

Here's another local story:

http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/authorities-called-disturbance-involving-george-
zi/nbwzk/

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla.

Channel 9 has confirmed George Zimmerman has been arrested on domestic violence
charges in Seminole County on Monday.

The disturbance was at a residence on Topfield Court in unincorporated Apopka,
although authorities haven't said what exactly happened.

Sounds like it was another domestic violence situation (which he has been involved in
PRIOR to the TM incident and after). This guy is a DIRTBALL and needs to be locked
away for the safety of society.

These comments just show the glowing race divide in this country. After all the facts
were laid out in court, I'd have cut Zimmerman loose too. Clear case of self defense.

But, but, but, he PROFILED poor little Trayvon? So what? If Trayvon didn't wish to be
profiled as a criminal, he shouldn't have gone out of his way to LOOK like a criminal.

Come walking down my street looking like some kind of thug and I'll profile your ass
too. And if you decide to attack me for profiling you? Well, it probably won't be a good
day for either of us.

The part being left out is how a white man would be profiled if he entered a black
neighborhood. Most would automatically profile the person as either being a cop, or
someone seeking drugs. And if the white person being profiled decided to attack someone
over this? Well hell, he just might get shot too.

If one goes through life looking for trouble, its bound to find them. Color has nothing to
do with it.

Some of you need to learn that it's in bad taste to try to hide your racism behind the guise
of being "anti-racist". If you make your assumptions about people based on their race,
you are just as racist as anyone else.

I'm not a Zimmerman worshipper. However, the man is entitled to the presumption of
innocence just like any other citizen.

He MURDERED a 17 year old for the 'crime' of being black. Plenty of decent people
abhor that. Not only that-he STARTED a confrontation and ended it with his gun. What a
jackass of SUPREME proportions. Defending a weasel like this only shows you stand
behind a murderer. I didn't stand behind OJ and I don't stand behind Zimmerman either.

Isn't OJ black? I thought it was all about racism.

Back to the topic...

As for the verdicts. I have to trust the juries to make the decision. They didn't see the
doctored NBC footage claiming racism, and they didn't see the POTUS claiming Trayvon
was his son.
All the media should say is that here are the facts that we know to be the fact-checked,
and here is what the jury said. That is journalism. Everything else is bias spin. The media
(NBC especially) has gone out of their way to spin their version of the case. Even
POTUS has created division among the people with his comments.

What really happened? Only a few people really know. The facts were presented as
legally based, and a verdict was acheived. Don't like the results? Don't act like POTUS.
Defend the Constitution and the rights to a fair trial - no matter the verdict.

I'm as liberal as they come. The jury found him not guilty, I hope they made right
decision, I don't know if they did or did not, but we'll live with it, because it's the best
system we have. So, to my fellow lefties, we just have to grit our teeth and hope the jury
got it right and try to change the law so stupid stuff like this doesn't happen again. But, I
accept that he's innocent. To my friends on the right. Ahhhhhh, don't defend the system
too much, I've seen it first hand and it's a mess. It gets stuff wrong all the time. The
reason I'm against the death penalty isn't because I don't think some people are such
garbage that they don't deserve it, but I don't trust the system enougt to get it right.
Anyway, that aside, okay he may be innocent in the TM case, a situation that got out of
hand, and I would hope if he had to do it over he would do it differently, but as someone
else said, when there's smoke there's fire. And there sure is a lot of smoke around him.
So, yes, he is not guilty, but he doesn't sound like a good guy. I hope he gets his act
together.

Baliman, Didn't you know that's enough to justify a fatal shooting, at least here in
Florida. A teenager was shot and killed in a car at a convenience store after another driver
demanded he lower his music. Words were exchanged then the man pulled a pistol and
shot into the car, killing the youth. This didn't make a big splash nationally. He claimed
he saw the barrel of a gun. After he shot the boy, he and his girlfriend drove off, spent the
night in a hotel, then drove home in the morning. 8 or 9 shots were fired into the vehicle.
Police reported there was no gun found in the SUV. Before you claim they could have
got their gun out of the vehicle, this happened at the pump island of a convenience store,
with witnesses and surveillance cameras.

Tell me, how did Trayvon "go out of his way to LOOK like a criminal"? He wore a
hoodie on a rainy night? Sagged his pants? Exactly, what do you mean by that statement?
And I will repeat something I have said over and over and over - being found "not guilty"
is not the same as being innocent. Ask OJ Simpson, ask Casey Anthony - or do you think
they are "innocent" as well, just because a jury found them "not guilty"?

Frankly, it would seem to me that the reverse is true - Zimmerman "went out of his way
to look/act like a police officer" and appears to have some anger issues given his history
of domestic violence - it just amazes me how many of you who support him appear
almost gleeful that Trayvon is dead (just a no-good "thug" is probably one of the kinder
things I have heard this 17 year old young man called); who say that Zimmerman did the
community a "favor" by killing an unarmed 17 year old who dared to dress like a million
other 17 year old young men (and older men), thereby being "targeted" based upon how
he was dressed, if not by the color of his skin as many of us believe - it appears to me that
you admit he was profiled, but only because you are profiling him yourself by judging
him by the clothing he wore. Am I saying that Trayvon was an innocent little child? No,
but we will never know whether or not he might have "grown out of it" like so many
young men do - I know plenty of guys my age who were absolute idiots - sometimes
doing not so legal things - when they were 17 but yet have grown into mature,
responsible adults - Trayvon had that chance taken away from him by a man who should
have been more mature and less reactionary himself. Sadly, Trayvon will go down in
history as the first person to ever have been found guilty of his own murder. And
Zimmerman gets to join the ranks of those who "got away with it" - but like with
everything else in life, eventually it catches up with you (O.J.?) - and it appears that it
what is happening to poor 'ol George - by the way, the charge is domestic violence
against his new girlfriend - but she's probably lying too, just like everyone else who ever
has anything bad to say about George, right?

Apparently, judging from just a few posts from the FAUX News squad assigned to patrol
this site (and, apparently, paid by Rupert Murdoch), the right wing feels that not only is
George Zimmerman allowed to start fights with black people and shoot them when he
starts losing, but that the press should be banned from reporting on any arrests of George
Zimmerman.

It is really quite odd that people are surprised that when you release a killer like George
Zimmerman into the populace with a pat on the head and a gun, he continues to be a
problem.

And, lastly, no court has determined George Zimmerman to be "innocent"- there is no
such verdict allowable. The jury simply determined that the state didn't prove him guilty.
Maybe we should stop holding trials in Florida- the population there seems to lack either
the sanity, racial tolerance or intelligence (all three?) to reach a proper conclusion when
they are presented with the cold-blooded murder of an young black man committing the
horrible act of eating Skittles and drinking pop.
The sooner that Zimmerman goes the route of OJ and commits a crime serious enough to
send him to prison for a long time, and goes in front of a juror filled with normal people,
the better. I guess we'll have to wait for him to gun down a white man.

If you really think "looking like a thug" is reduced to merely wearing basketball shoes
and a hoodie, I would suggest YOU are the ignorant one.

It couldn't possibly be the "grillz" or the pants down around the middle of the ass, could
it?

Understand the ghetto you live in doesn't comprise the entire country. Some parents and
communities actually care how their children are perceived by others.

We need to let Zimmerman off his leash and drop him off in Chicago, New York, and
D.C. to clean the streets. There is way too many pieces of scum out there that dont
deserve their own lives. Lets put Zimmerman to use to clean the streets up.

Are you kidding me? He'd sh*t his pants with a level playing field.

Mo-563393, GZ is doing nothing differently than what he did before he killed TM. He
had a police record before the incident and continues to grow his laundry list. He never
left the tracks he was on. People like this never learn their lessons.
NoBSfromliberals, you need to do your homework because his entire criminal history,
before and after he killed Trayvon Martin, is public record. Go look at them yourself.

We have always known that juries sometimes get it wrong. Like they did for Casey
Anthony

"People that have no clue what they talk about should be banned from the subject. IH8-
They are NOT the same, there was not ENOUGH evidence to convict Casey Anthony
according to the system, she was found NOT GUILTY because of this."

Casey & Zimmerman both murderers who were found not guilty. If you CANNOT see
the similarities, I feel sorry for you.

GZ was found INNOCENT because ALL the evidence PROVED he acted in self defense
and there was PLENTY of evidence!!

Shouldn't you be banned from speaking since we don't find people INNOCENT!? I mean
according to your own beliefs?
he didn't even need the Stand Your Ground Law because he knew he would be found
INNOCENT!. And being found INNOCENT is NOT the same as being found NOT
GUILTY like Casey Anthony. Do you now finally understand that IH8?

Oh I understand that GZ is a murderer just like Casey Anthony, and both of their victims
were SCREWED by our justice system.

Loomis11x

@ih8yourh8....Were you on the jury? Did you sit through each and every minute of the
trial? Were you even in the courtroom? Nope. You sat at home and caught 30 second
clips on your favorite news channel and ASSUMED guilty.

I spent longer on it than 30 sec clips. Therefore all your assumptions are BS.

He murdered no one according to a jury of his peers.

His peers are not infallible. Anyone with a LICK of sense knows he murdered TM.

Black/white/Asian/Mexican had nothing to do with it except for the idiots Al Sharpton
and Jesse Jackson made it count for something. The FACTS that the jury deliberated on
were that GZ was attacked by a young man, was assaulted and then defended himself.
That is what the evidence supported. PERIOD!

Is it your contention that juries are never wrong? How droll.

I am not defending GZ. I am supporting our legal system

Blind adoration is the least envy worthy of them all.

If they got it wrong, then where is all the evidence supporting your claim?

The facts support my claim, and they still got it wrong. I admit the prosecutor didn't do
the greatest of jobs and neither did the police, but when you have an ARMED adult
STALKING an unarmed minor, it's clear WHO is in the wrong. The armed ADULT.

Stop playing the race card. It is getting very old. Your media showed an innocent looking
12 year old kid with dimples

Whether he had dimples or not he was an unarmed teen committing NO illegal acts.
You're right that color shouldn't matter but that isn't always the case with MURDERERS
like GZ.

This was not the same Trayvon Martin that attacked GZ. But we never saw those images
did we???
I didn't decide based on IMAGES who was guilty. I'd want ANY unarmed teen I know to
take out a possible pedophile who is armed and stalking them like a lion does in the wild.

I also love how the black community wants to reduce everything to a one sentence, easily
digestible soundbite like "skittles and candy".

During the protests, before Zimmerman was charged, the good rev Jackson led a march
of a few hundred hoodrats up the street chanting, "shot in the chest, we want an arrest".

How awesome would it have been if a few thousand of Florida's snowbirds had marched
up the street during the trial chanting, "if the head is split, you must acquit"?

Like a lot of other people....I 'rushed to judgement' based solely on those initial media
reports.....the heavily edited 911 tape, the side by side photos of sweet little Trayvon &
the scowling old mug shot of Zimmerman. I believe he was arrested that time....for
coming to the defense of a woman who was being beaten by her boyfriend in a
bar.....who happened to be a cop. THAT's why he was 'booked'. I believe the charges
were later dropped in THAT case. The man was complketely 'painted' to look like a racist
by NBC.....and the rest of the media jumped on the bandwagon. THIS is why there is a
major lawsuit pending against NBC. And it's also the reason the media will continue to
hound the man & do everything they can to gloss over his previously GREAT
reputation....not only as a neighborhood watchman, but as a HELPFUL volunteer to the
black community. It's in NBC's best interest to portray GZ in a negative light. The guy
got a speeding ticket for doing 60 in a 45 zone....REALLY?!!?? Major headlines. The
dude could 'jaywalk' or spit on the sidewalk, and the media will be ready to pounce. And
I consider myself to be very 'liberal'. I'm also a Vietnam-era vet......and a former gun
owner. I've got nothing against people owning guns to defend themselves & their
property.

A fair trial according to liberals:

1. Guilty until proven innocent.

2. If the alleged victim is black and the alleged murderer is not then this is proof of guilt.

3. The defence is not allowed to call witnesses.

4. The defence is not allowed to cross examine witnesses.
5. The defence is not allowed to introduce evidence.

6. Hearsay is acceptable evidence.

7. Evidence that's been tampered with is the best kind of evidence.

8. If a witness says something that can help the defence then it is struck from the record.

9. The jury shall be composed of 12 black male teenage children with histories of drug
   abuse, violence, and burglary.

Straight from the TMZ article....

2:14 PM PT According to the Seminole County Sheriff, the woman was not pregnant ...
but we're told she told the 911 dispatcher she was. The Sheriff says the woman claims
Zimmerman pointed a DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN at her, pushed her out of the
house. He then allegedly barricaded the front door with furniture.

If this is true, let the police first confirm that he has a double barrel shotgun. The
girlfriend already told a lie in the 911 call. Ya might want to let this play out before

Well, another way to look at it is if GZ was so quick to attack and then pull the trigger on
an innocent 17 year old kid for allegedly no reason, why is his ex-wife and now pregnant
girlfriend still alive?

Or does he only pull the trigger when the person he points his gun at is punching him in

The only pattern that is developing here is that GZ appears to be a big jerk and finds
himself getting into fights allot, which perhaps gives us a better picture as to why the kid
he shot was in the process of beating him up.

Zimmerman broke a glass table, her glasses, and then pointed a shotgun at her face.

(AP) -- George Zimmerman was charged Monday with assault after deputies were called
to the home where he lived with his girlfriend, who claimed he pointed a shotgun at her
during an argument, authorities said.

Zimmerman was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, battery and criminal
mischief.

In all probability he is suffering from PTSD; for a year and a half, he was facing life in
prison, the media tore him apart daily, the black panthers put a price on his head; he is in
very big need of Psychological consulting, hopes he gets some help before he does
something that will get him killed or someone else.

Well regardless of what an idiot Zimmerman is, all the evidence (including Trayvon's fat,
stupid, ghetto whore friend) proved that Trayvon pre-emptively committed a hate crime.

So lock Zimmerman up if he is a problem, but that doesn't change that an idiot met up
with a racist punk, and the racist punk lost.

No tears shed for either of them, though I'm sure you scumbag liberals will still continue
to attempt to divide the country over it.

Basic Training taught me when to keep my head down. Too bad he hasn't learned that
lesson yet. Maybe he has to go to jail first, or maybe he wants to go to jail??? Either way,
he is turning out to be a classic example of a life on the skids.

My opinion of his history has no bearing since he was aquitted of wrongdoing in the
Martin case, but he seems to be a wreck looking for someplace to happen. Hopefully he
doesn't take someone else with him. Then again, anybody that has a personal relationship
with this guy is probably on the same downhill slide as him.

I find it rather strange that the claim is that he broke her glasses without injuring her at
all.

By this point, I think that the police want to "get" Zimmerman. And it is entirely
plausible that they told her that she could have that house all to herself -- at his expense --
if she helped them out.

Charlie: The media is to blame for his behavior???? How many people get this many
chances. He will continue til he hurts someone AGAIN. This should validate his wife
who got the worst end of the deal with the Martin case because she was lying for him and
she got caught. Without him there would have been no need to lie. No wonder she left.
He should have been charged when he broke the computer because she was taping his
behavior. The breaking was on tape. I guess it is okay because now it is a girlfriend. Lets
see that is 3 different people and I supposed they are all lying? Why would anyone date
him again is what I want to know. They know they will end up at the end of his gun.
Which he is a master at hiding. Unless he is convicted and can't carry it anymore. That
would be good for the citizens of Florida. I wonder if some are wishing they had their
money back they gave him for nothing. He isn't what they thought is he?

domestic violence, not to mention a few other questionable actions. When will you guys
see that this guy is a menace. I'm more sure than ever that Trayvon felt threatened, this
guy was most likely threatening him with his gun, as is his pattern. No witnesses saw
what happened leading up to the fight and so we will never know what prompted it.

And to all of you who say he was proven innocent in court, do you believe Casey

Frankly True:

It's called stalking behavior. And it's not all that uncommon. The problem is that the
police have more resources at their disposal when they are the ones that do it. It really
can't be questioned at this point that Zimmerman is being stalked. There are people that
want him hurt. And some people are willing to abuse the system to effect that end.

The reality is that when law enforcement keeps arresting the same person but can never
come up with solid evidence, there is reason to believe they are just targeting that person.
And there are a lot of people even here that want him targeted. Armchair psychologists
calling him a sociopath. People saying that he needs to be killed. He is quite clearly being
targeted by many people. The only real question is whether the local police are among
those people.

This man is a train wreck looking for a place to happen. The Trayvon Martin court case
and the media DESTROYED HIS LIFE and now he is probably a basket case. He likely
can't go anywhere without fearing for his life. Imagine living like that. This is not an
excuse for him doing what he did today. If I was him, I would leave the country. His
girlfriend should go and have her head examined. WTF is she thinking, dating him? He
needs to go get help before dating anyone else, because he obviously has anger issues and
the Martin case just made it worse.

To say he got away "scott free" for killing some kid is ridiculous. First, Martin was a
young man, not some 12 year old kid the media portrayed him to be. Secondly,
Zimmerman would be either dead today or permanently disabled if he allowed Martin to
beat him further. Martin would have run and likely would have gotten away with it. It's
sad that he died, but Martin was a thug, PERIOD. Quit portraying him any other way.

that by telling her that she could get the house to herself at Zimmerman's expense.

Just how many people are in on this conspiracy? Let's see, we have the ex-wife and her
father, all of the police in Florida and the police in Texas, the new girlfriend, the
girlfriend from years before Trayvon who first reported him for a domestic issue, the
media, Obama, the entire black race and all libs. I imagine Trayvon was in on the
conspiracy also. They are all out to get Zimmerman. It was clearly a set up from the start.

I take sides with an innocent man who is being harassed. Self-defense is not murder.

Would he still be innocent if he pointed his gun at Trayvon and threatened him? Would
Trayvon still be wrong for beating Zimmerman or would it be self-defense. You can't
possibly believe all these issues are caused by the police plotting to get him arrested, can

Obviously, the supreme being feels differently.

Sometimes, when a wrong can't be made right by traditional means, miracles happen that
tend to set things straight.

Not quite sure what you mean here. No supreme being is makes or not makes a person do
something. Kind of takes away the whole point of free will.

With that being said, I am neither for , or against Zimmerman. I dont care what he does,
or how many times hes getting into trouble now, whether its speeding, or domestic
violence.
The only thing I have ever defended was his right to life, and that implies to every person
not just him. He felt threatened enough by TM to kill him. GZ was getting his head
smashed into the ground, and who knows how severe GZ injuries would had been if he
had not defended himself.

Everyone can argue and speculate of who was where and why they all did what they did
prior to the confrontation, I am talking about the assault itself upon GZ from TM. I dont
have to like GZ, or agree with anything that he does in his life, but I do believe in self
defense, and the right to life.

I sit in court most days. I loved sitting in the courtroom during Zim's trial. The prosecutor
managed to stack the jury in the state's favor,(all women), managed to suppress any
mention of Trayvon's background, (multiple thefts, drug use, school
suspensions),suppressed the jury from 12 to 6,(less chance of a hung jury, also in states
favor), and also managed to suppress Zimmermans animated reenactment of what really
happened.

Despite all this, Zimmerman was acquitted. So no, it wasn't a fair trial. It was a kangaroo
court set up from jump to hang Zimmerman high. However he still walked. In fact, he
didn't just walk, the verdict was UNANIMOUS.

How anyone can dispute this mans being found innocent is totally beyond me. I don't
care what some bitch went on Oprah and said after the fact. If she thought he was guilty
she should of said so. And even then, this would still have rendered the same outcome,
the verdict just wouldn't have been UNANIMOUS like it was.

On this current case, rest assured, within 48 hours the prosecutor will drop this charge to
a misdemeanor and offer a plea bargain. Sticking a shotgun in someones face,(even if this
really happened which is questionable), isnt necessarily a crime. All I've heard so far is
he said she said with no EVIDENCE.

Believe it or not, it still takes more than another person's word to put you in jail in this
country. So sorry libbies, don't wet your pants just wet. This is far from a done deal.

How anyone can dispute this mans being found innocent is totally beyond me.

Because the way the burden of proof fell, and the lack of decent physical evidence. We
know that GZ shot and killed TM beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Defense then employs an affirmative defense in order to prove the shooting was
justified. The burden of proof should shift to the defense at a minimum of a
preponderance of the evidence.

Unfortunately, that evidence is in dispute and lacking. There is conjecture and theories,
but the facts are that GZ had relatively minor injuries, and nothing else but conflicted
witness accounts.

Is it possible that GZ really was in mortal danger? Sure. Is it possible he brandished his
weapon, got punched once and then retaliated by shooting? Also equally possible. There
simply isn't enough proof to have an effective affirmative defense.

Of course, Florida's statute doesn't cause this shift of burden like common law and most
states do. Hence the screwy outcome.

Believe it or not, it still takes more than another person's word to put you in jail in this
country.

But apparently that is all it takes to stay out of jail.

Mike in Delray

This is GREAT !!!....I hope all States take notice....

A perfect candidate for Jail Time is Angela Corey...The Wicked Witch of Jacksonville....

The Special Persecutor brought in to railroad George Zimmerman.....It is already known
she withheld evidence from the Defense Team...She fired the IT Director that notified the
Defense and the press about it.

"Ben Kruidbos, who worked as the IT Director in the Florida State Attorney's office who
discovered exculpatory evidence was withheld from the Zimmerman defense team, was
fired on July 11th, the day the Zimmerman jury went into deliberations."........

"He reported the descrepency to a State Attorney's Office investigator. He then informed
the prosecutor, Bernie de la Rionda. The report that was turned over to defense lawyers
was only 1/3 of the original information. When no action was taken, Kruidbos notified
the defense through his attorney for fear he would be held responsible for the obvious
obstruction of justice.".....

"Justice Debra Nelson had said that she would rule on the defense motion to sanction the
state and it's prosecutors until after the verdict, which is the usual method of addressing
such claims."
http://www.examiner.com/article/it-director-who-testified-for-george-zimmerman-fired-
by-angela-corey

I've found nothing yet that says any action was taken...

Figures someone would chime in with that crap.... He got away with saving his own life
from a racist, homophobic gangsta-wannabe......or didn't you hear he was found
innocent....That withheld evidence proved he was even more innocent !!

She's also the Prosecutor that sent the Black woman to jail for 20 years for firing one

Still a fan of Angela Corey ?????

Correct, but if I had heard that she had made claims of being pregnant with her last three

But there is evidence that the table is broken and that she was driven from her own home.

Either the pressure of living in hiding from all those who threatened to kill him is getting
to his mind, or he's a big old dummy.

Also, it could be a little from Column A, and a little from Column B.

Domestic violence is not really a minor thing...it's one of the leading causes of gun
murder (and I'm pro-gun rights completely, so don't get me wrong). If this situation and
the charge sticks he might be looking at a loss of gun rights...and if it is true, then no one
should want him to have a gun.

I'm against pre-emptive regulation of arms...but when you coerce others, you have
sacrificed your individual sovereignty by your choices. I only think governing those who
screw up is necessary and ethical...and if this story is true, then it is necessary and ethical
to govern this guy, as it's a major screw up.

In other news, pork chops marinated in Italian dressing are really tasty. I totally
recommend.

If Al "Save Tawana" Sharpton had stayed out of the TM/GZ case, and Martin's parents
had pursued the matter as "an az-soul murdered our son" instead of "a racist gun-lynched
our Afro-American child", then Zimmerman might have been convicted for being an out-
of-control az-soul that provoked a manslaughter situation, rather than get cleared of what
WASN'T a race-based hate crime. [Of course, we all know Al and Jesse jumped on it and
got the matter into Big News because, with a name like Zimmerman, they thought they
had a Jewish white guy in their sights **lol**]. So it's not just entertainment, anymore, to
watch the so-called victims of racism turning out to be sputering racists, themselves--
instead, such foolishness not only has Zimmerman still out being a nuisance, but now we
have to read about every fuhkken thing he does thanks to all the race-baiters [that would
be msn, the "Reverend" Jesse Jackson, the "Reverend" Al "Save Tawana" Sharpton, and
most of the commenters on these articles, regardless of what color your skin is] that got
him status as a great click-magnet for on-line news media.

I'll tell you truthfully and if you remember all my posts concerning he
Zimmerman/Martin trial you know I am telling the truth. At first, I was appalled that
someone would shoot and unarmed teen and call it self defense. I think all of that posting
of this teen's 14-year-old photos actually hurt the case. In truth, as far as the confrontation
went, Martin had the height advantage and Zimmerman had the weight advantage which I
think, in a hand-to-hand fight made things pretty equal.

Now, with Zimerman's last confrontation and this current one - "George Zimmerman was
arrested and charged in connection with threatening his girlfriend with a gun..." I can see
George Zimmerman confronting Martin, showing his gun and threatening Martin with it,
maybe even pulling it out and forcing Martin to react to save his life. It is why
Zimmerman was all beat up and Martin had no marks on him because Martin was
fighting for his life while Zimmerman was attempting to shoot and kill Martin. I now
believe that was Martin screaming for help repeatedly on that 911 call as he was fighting
off someone who had a gun pulled on him and threatening to kill him.

People do not change easily, they usually stick to their same ways and Zimmerman has
shown that his first reaction to any confrontation is to threaten violence with a firearm.

she wants him. All she has to do is say the word gun and millions want him hung from
the closest tree. Don't you think its suspicious that she calls 911 and instead of talking to
the operator she makes sure the the recording is " you pointed your gun in my face"? She
can literally treat him like dirt and get whatever she wants out of him. If something
doesn't go her way she has him by the nuts. If I read the article correctly she already lied
about being pregnant. If all charges are dropped because she is " playing the game" like
she is accusing him of doing a lot of you will upset. Some people look to be offended and
look to be wronged and will never be happy. Have fun being a lefty. Personally I couldn't

A note to anyone going to trial - the moment you pull the race card when something is
doubtful on the matter of it being a racially committed crime, you lose about 5,000 -
10,000 points in credibility and those points are hard to earn back. I think this was a
major reason why Zimmerman was acquitted. Martin's family and their supporters
screwed everything up because they had everyone looking in the wrong direction, making
this an issue about race, instead of just looking at Zimmerman as a violent person with
self-control and anger issues. They are a big reason why this guy is still walking free on
the streets.

"You can't possibly believe all these issues are caused by the police plotting to get him

Oh, I don't think Martin was trying to help the police arrest someone. After all, if you are
going to trump up charges against someone, you want a case of h-said-she-said where the
physical evidence is unlikely to contradict you. But after that self-defense incident, he
keeps "getting into" he-said-she-said situations. There are a lot of people that want him
jailed or killed. How many arrests with no convictions must someone go through before
you consider that someone might be trying to set him up?

been a big off line debate on this point and we're running a pool. . . . I'm in the 18 camp
and hoping to make bank on this one.

. . . and

Did you come up with the name Kornfed all by yourself during or after you were

Kindly, I gave you credit for decency on both categories, . . being the generous sort that I

Thanks for being a good sport about this. . . . We're waiting for your reply.

My civil lib friend....All you need to know is that I am a very handsome man with many
breeding offers. I am not aware of any encounters with next of kin.

If I were a product of 18 to 19 generations of inbreeding, I would most likely not be
handsome, nor would I be as logical as I clearly am.

I came up with the name Kornfed for personal reasons. You will have to just keep

Zimmerman is a liar and manipulator. He lied in court before the trial (money). He lied to
investigators about what happened that night (examples: he was looking for a street sign
which just happened to be in the same direction Martin was going -- only three streets in
the complex and he had lived there and patrolled for how long? Martin jumped out of the
bushes -- the only bushes there were small bushes right next to the air-conditioning units
many feet away from the sidewalk, etc.). And now Zimmerman is lying to the police
about subsequent domestic incidents. He's got that reasonable and passive demeanor to
the authorities all the while claiming he himself to be the victim.

He's such a man...chasing and shooting an unarmed teenager, engaging in altercations
and abusing women (destroying property and frightening them excessively). Despite
what the misogynists like to believe, women do not make up domestic abuse, it happens
way too often committed by cowards just like Zimmerman.

Here is what we have...two 911 calls.

Zimmerman thinks she is pregnant...

Zimmerman's girlfriend admits to police that she is not pregnant...

Lemma later said that the victim has disclosed that she is not pregnant.

Something is fishy here. Many things can be going on here. Why did she tell Zimmerman
she was pregnant in the first place one can wonder. Was she trying to trap him? Was she
trying to see how much he loved her? One can only speculate.

The girlfriend admits that Zimmerman was trying to keep her out of the house. If he had
held a gun to her head, why would he have to barricade the door? Wouldn't you want to
get away from him? ....

She can then be heard pleading with Zimmerman to leave her house, before telling a
dispatcher: He just pushed me out of my house and locked me out! She also alleged that
Zimmerman barricaded the front door with furniture, according to Lemma

We can only speculate, but was she hurt that he was willing to leave the relationship
thinking that she was pregnant, and lashed out by calling 911 saying he put a gun to her
head? When a person is emotionally hurt, they can lash back with the most damning
recourse available, and what better recourse than saying he held a gun to her head.
I would submit that we wait and see how this plays out before putting Zimmerman back
into the hanging noose.

Perhaps he is terrible at picking his relationships. Perhaps he has real problems with his
guns. Let the evidence point to which one, and punish accordingly.

How do you know she told Zimmerman she was pregnant? Do you (yet again) confuse
Zimmerman's account with reality? Perhaps, YOU can ONLY "wonder" and "speculate".
This is not so for others.

Quote......The girlfriend admits that Zimmerman was trying to keep her out of the house.

It isn't "THE house". Rather, it is HER house. By what right does Zimmerman remain,
dis-invited, in this woman's house (which is) much less than attempting to expel (her) the
actual homeowner?

It seems you are quite athletic at jumping to conclusions. Further yet, you seem

read way too many threads on here calling Tryavon a thug who assulted Zimmerman.

To those of you who keep saying Tryavon was thug who attacked Zimmerman:

1) With specificity tell the rest of us exactly what DA* crime was he committing?

2) With specificity tell the rest of us exactly why was it against the law for him to walk
down the street, talk on the phone, and mind his own business against the law?

3) With specificity why was it OK for Zimmerman to get out of his vehicle to chase
Tryavon who was minding his own business and not bothering a soul?

4) With specificity why didn't Tryavon have the right to preceive Zimmerman as a threat
and be in fear of his life?

5) With specificity why wasn't Tryavon who was minding his own business didn't have
the right to stand his ground?

6) With specificity why did Zimmerman have the right to violate Tryavon civil rights?
Tryavon was born in the United States and his constitutional rights were violated.

7) Zimmerman confronted Tryavon, his actions proved that when he got out of his
   vehicle and CONFRONTED Tryavon.

8) I am a mother of a son MY SON just like Tryavon has EVERY RIGHT TO DEFEND

Zimmerman is a BULLY with a weapon and a history AND a record of assaulting others
who will kill another innocent person its just a matter of time. Tryavon didn't have a
police record but you call him a thug, Zimmerman with a record of assulting others is not
a thug - Interesting.

GC:

1. The crime Mr. Martin was committing was bashing Zimmerman's skull in.

2. He wasn't minding his own business. He was trying to bash Zimmerman's skull in.

3. Zimmerman was following, not chasing, Martin in order to be able to identify him to
the police when they got there. Anyone is allowed to try to identify someone they
think is suspicious to the police. Now, I'm not saying Zimmerman had good reason to
believe Martin was suspicious. But if Martin had gone home and phoned the police
himself, everyone involved would still be alive.

4. A question on whether Martin had the right to be in fear of his life denies the fact that
Martin didn't act like he was in fear of his life. He acted like someone who was
"proving how tough he was" by killing someone with his bare hands.

5. Mr. Martin wasn't minding his own business. He was launching an unprovoked attack
-- something he apparently bragged about doing before, though Zimmerman couldn't
have known that. Zimmerman only knew someone was trying to kill him.

6. What Constitutional rights do you think Zimmerman violated? Most of the listed
rights are restrictions on what government can do. And Zimmerman is not an agent of
   the government.

7. Zimmerman did not confront Martin. He also did not empty his gun into Martin's back
from the safety of his truck.

8. I certainly hope that your son is not just like Mr. Martin, who bragged about "making
people bleed." The kangaroo court may have disallowed those texts as evidence. But
they show what Mr. Martin was like.

Ken - having been the victim of domestic abuse, you do not know that his wife "lied"
about him (she wasn't his ex then - she had just filed divorce papers when this "incident"
took place) - trust me, these "men" (I use the term loosely, for lack of a civilized one)
who abuse women know how to keep people's mouths shut; they know how to charm
people; did it ever occur to you that he might have threatened her with more abuse if she
didn't retract her statement? True, this could be just vindictiveness on her part, but you do
not know that she, in fact, lied. And by the way, being found "not guilty", isn't the same
as being found innocent. It simply means that the jury didn't have enough evidence (due
to ineptitude on the prosecution's part and corruption with law enforcement trying to
cover their asses, imho) to convict, nor were they given an included lessor charge (such
as the manslaughter he, again in my opinion, was guilty of) so they had no choice but to
acquit - that's a far cry from being innocent - ask OJ Simpson all about having effective
representation. However, just like OJ, Zimmerman's true colors are starting to appear and
those who supported him are now making excuses, blaming the media, his wife,
Trayvon's family - everybody but the one person who is responsible for his behavior -
George Zimmerman. He's looking more and more like the wannabe cop many have
claimed he is - most decent people aren't arrested and/or accused of a crime even once in
their lives, and this man has had several run-ins with the law - the same people who held
up for Zimmerman and vilified Trayvon used Trayvon's "record" against him,
proclaiming him basically guilty of his own murder - so we can't do the same with
Zimmerman? What's the difference?

George Zimmerman has been arrested in a domestic dispute involving his girlfriend and

He was arrested at about 1 p.m. Monday at his girlfriend's home on Topfield Court in
Apopka following a 911 call. Neighbors told WESH 2 News that they didn't know the
woman was dating Zimmerman, and they thought the man might have been an
undercover cop because he walked around like an officer.

Neighbors said his truck had been parked in the neighborhood for about a month.

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla.

Channel 9 has confirmed George Zimmerman has been arrested on domestic violence

The only thing I can thing of Zimmerman defenders is that they must have a criminal
history or have close friends and family with criminal histories. I go by "Birds of a
feather flock together".

There is something disturbing about how often police are called with regards to
Zimmerman. Most honest law-abiding citizens with no criminal history don't have this
experience. Zimmerman has had experience with police intervention before Trayvon and
after Trayvon. Even if you believe Trayvon was guilty, what's the explanation for all the
other times. Could it possibly be the one common element in all these cases-
Zimmerman?

@MillerMan15 (post 2.9) - famous people are always covered and their deeds are always
publicized. Zimmerman is famous. What I find more disturbing is your thoughts on
MSNBC covering this piece of news. You are stating that MSNBC should not report on
something they consider news. Isn't that a violation of one of our constitutional
amendments, namely Freedom of the Press? That sounds distinctly un-american to me.

Ken Trout, you prove the adage that fish rots from the head. A jury finds someone guilty
or not guilty there is no "he was found innocent". You believe George Zimmerman's
version of what happened and say that his ex-wife lied, but you leave out that he lied to
the judge about his assets first. That's why his bail was revoked. After that nothing he
said should have been believed. Usually there are three sides to a story, Trayvon Martin's
side, George Zimmerman's side, and the truth. Trayvon Martin is dead. That only leaves
George Zimmerman's side and the truth.

AgtOso, actually if you recall the beginning of the story, one of the responding officers
said there was enough evidence to charge him but was ordered not to. Did anyone ever
investigate where that order came from? Don't forget, some people lost their jobs over
this case because of the mishandling of the crime scene and the trigger happy gunman.

@AgtOso- "@ Alaskan Patriot Agree 100%. What I find particularly interesting about
this case is what wasn't allowed in evidence. Every LEO is familiar with *stank* which is
skittles and Arizona watermelon (flavor of the month then) Ice Tea and big shot of booze.
This is what TM had gone to the store for. The other interesting thing was the autopsy
revealed cirrhosis of the liver. Being a layperson, IDK if there's other causes for cirrhosis.
This kid wasn't a goody two shoes."

You just made yourself sound like a complete idiot! Yes every LEO is familiar with
"stank",....but its slang for weed dumbass!! I think the term you're looking for is "lean"
and once again you fail on that, Its not alcohol, they use cough syrup with codeine (used
to called Tylenol 3). His autopsy did not reveal cirrhosis of the liver, it was high fatty
deposits which was explained due to his diet. I'll give you this one for free, the autopsy
akso said that the THC in his system was so small that there was no way he was high that
night or within the few days prior, (THC can stay in your system up to 2 weeks).

Side note in Florida if there are dual complaints about domestic violence common
practice is to arrest both parties, since George's soon to be ex is on

What in God's earth can you expect? Funny the folks that complain the most about
Zimmerman and the trial outcome are liberals that want to give amnesty to more
Hispanics. Granted, he was born here, but his mother came in from Peru. He is anchor

It was Republican Ronald Reagan who granted "amnesty" to 6,000,000 illegal aliens,
which has now become 11,000,000 additional illegal aliens.

I'm a liberal, and I believe "illegal means illegal".

11,000,000 illegal aliens is NOT immigration, it's an invasion of foreign nationals.

No other country in the world would allow 11,000,000 foreign national to infiltrate their

For ANYONE who thinks George Zimmerman is innocent, stop being stupid. If they
were involved in a tussle he could have shot Trayvon Martin 6 times and still not killed
him( Had he been truly only defending himself. You would think a "Neighborhood
Watchman" would exercise more caution in disabling an "assailant" with one well placed
round so the police could make an arrest upon arriving, allowing the "innocent" George
Zimmerman to explain his non-lethal actions to Law Enforcement. Is there not less lethal
ammunition for a person in his capacity to use in that case? Why didn't he at least have a
BB gun for "STAND YOUR GROUND" instances outside of his residence. Even if it
was found later that he was profiling Trayvon and sentenced to jail time, why is Trayvon
Martin dead? Shouldn't he have handled the situation with a little bit more
"PROFESSIONALISM". George Zimmerman stinks of prejudice and violence.

P.S. - No jury outside of Florida could 100% convict Trayvon Martin's father for ridding
the world of old Georgey Porgy

death she was not home. She and GZ had a fight and she went to stay at her mother's
house. Since she was not home for him to fight with GZ went looking for a fight and
picked on TM. In the last fight with his wife he knew that she was on probation for lying
to the court. So he claimed she assaulted him as well as he assaulted her. He did the same
to the girlfriend before, both women dropped the charges to avoid any jail time. GZ is
aggressive to those he deems weaker than himself and calm and docile in the face of
strenght. Notice how he behaves in front of law enforcement, a far cry from the
aggression he takes out on women, teenaged boys and older men.

Ol' Georgie is a brave man when his has a gun and his targets do not. It has been
observed that when LEO is called he becomes so subservient to them he seems like a
pussycat. Now he has set a pattern of being a bully thug with a gun but when he is met
with equal force he becomes docile. Georgia is on a self destruct journey wherein he will
meet up with a woman who is equally armed when he threatens her and she will shoot
him. It is only a matter of time before he is the victim through a just SYG. Why is it his
victims always seem to be weaker and/or younger than this big man with a gun or at least
when LEO has been involved when called by those he has assailed? Georgia is writing
his own history folks that cannot be refuted except through denial. It won't be long and
Georgia will be finding a new man figure in his life down in Raeford prison as fresh quail
meat. The urban gun legend folk hero will soon become just another notch in someones
gun and he will no longer be the hero of gun nuts.

BS! The NRA is beholden to the gun industry, and they're beholden to profits. They don't
care where their guns end up. In fact, the more guns they can put into criminals hands, the
more they can use it to drum up more sales.

You want to know the real reason gun laws have been so ineffective? Because we've got
50 different sets of them across the country, and sellers have no accountability. I hear
people on the right always talk about "criminals will get guns regardless of laws", but you
never see them touch the subject of HOW they get those guns, or what pro-gun
legislation assures them easy access despite what local laws might dictate.

And the right has fought to assure sellers that they don't have to keep these records. I can
trace every owner and sale of a motor vehicle. Not so with a firearm. What clarifies this
fact more than anything else is the fact that most of the guns in the possession of

I flew out my bedroom and was in his face with my 'weapon' (non-deadly) and dared

one) back off immediately when THEY might get hit back for REAL. I so badly wanted
to see if he had the NERVE to hit her right in front of me, but he didn't.

(I see a similarity in GZ and myf former friend's abusive ex here. He doesn't show his
violence in front of someone who can counter it)

These women who date GZ are as dumb as my old room mate. They are the reason so
many women are looked down upon and if you're going to date a violent whack job don't
think you are too good to NOT be on the receiving end of his violence. You are TOO
STUPID FOR WORDS if you trust a violent man LIKE GZ.

This is a good enough reason for me to NOT be friends with a female, if she is enabling
abusive behavior. I think these women who DON'T call the cops should shoulder some of
the blame when these animals attack someone else. He could have been in jail if you'd
done what was right, but NOOOO, you just HAD to stay in an abusive relationship.
(there is NO good reason to stay in that, IF you have a speck of pride)

Ladies-I have NEVER been violently attacked by ANY man I've ever dated...probably
because I make it clear from the get go that if they ever do that, they are basically saying
I hate you and NEVER want to see you again. And I say it with the seriousness of a heart
attack. Nobody's ever tested me on that, but as EVERY man I've ever dated could tell

Shot and killed an unarmed thug, who was beating his head into the pavement. Why do
people skip over that part?

Because there was really no evidence supporting it. There were a few abrasions on his
head, but not consistent with being beaten on the pavement. Maybe being knocked down
once...

And the mud slinging is inappropriate, but so was pursuing the kid after being told by the
911 dispatcher not to and that the cops were on their way. Not to mention how often his
story changed in the first week.

The problem EngEsq is that there are a certain number of people that excuse him and a
certain number of people that condemn him, both having none of the facts.

What both are saying, is that they don't worry about the truth, they just want to be the
first to make a judgement.

Jrl, the facts were he was armed, sought out Trayvon after being told not to by the
dispatcher, and the unarmed person ended up dead. At the minimum GZ should have
been arrested and an investigation done.

That is why people were so pissed. The police work was half assed and the physical
evidence never well recorded. We don't even have good analysis of the wounds on GZ's
head. Even a little bit of medical forensics on those wounds could have put this case to
bed. But he was allowed to go, wash up, and seek external medical treatment later.

Wound depth, material in the wounds, and embedding depth would have indicated the
type and angle of the injury. None of this was done.

When you start with the facts outlined above, the burden of proof for self defense should
be at least a preponderance of the evidence. I don't believe that basic level of burden was
meet.

when he was targeted by GZ.

How about ALL ADULTS refrain from stalking minors while packing? How about

EngEsq OK, so you missed the trial. Most notably the testimony of the Expert witness a
Forensic Pathologist who stated under oath that had the head banging continued GZ
would have become unconscious suffered a concussion and faced the possibility of death
as a result of this assault. Yeah, there was that. I must ask again when a 911 Dispatcher
became a member of Law enforcement ? Listen to the 911 tape for yourself. The Civilian
Dispatcher responds to GZ's offer to follow the "suspect" with "we don't need you to do
that". Later in the recording the same Dispatcher tells GZ to get her an address. GZ
leaves his truck to look at an address and is jumped by TM. Crazy HUH? Have you
considered that the Police Dept's lack of procedural diligence is what made this trial
possible? Maybe if they had properly processed the crime scene and sent GZ to the
Emergency room and had proper procedure been followed in all likely hood this case
would have never gone to trial. Instead we got a Media driven White Man (bet that was a
first for GZ) shoots Black teen and were shown pictures of a 5 yr old TM followed by a
13 yr old TM and his grief stricken family being comforted by Al Sharpton and Rev Jesse
Jackson. Quite a Media Blitz. I only have the evidence that was presented at trial. You
know the trial where GZ was found

saw Martin and called the police - which he was supposed to do. The dispatcher ( who

Zimmerman replied he had lost sight of him and was returning to his vehicle. The only
logical explanation is Trayvon went looking for Zimmerman... if he was so scared or

And you missed that the medical examiner stated that Martin would have been unable to
move, and only had abrasions on this fourth and fifth finger. In direct conflict with the
Defense's expert. Except htis guy wasn't paid 600 an hour to testify, and actually saw the
body.
Any you also missed the Expert witness who stated that GZ's injuries were "insignificant"
and "non-life threatening". And that GZ's injuries were consistent with striking the
pavement one and without grave force.

Also, you noticed that the Defense's witness also needed to mention that it's possible to
receive trauma without visible wounds. Of course GZ was sitting right there, so instead of
making such conjecture why not show actual medical records. Oh, that's right, they didn't
exist. This is in addition to your other inaccurate statements about what the expert
testified.

I don't have to rewrite history, too many idiots believe the LIES coming out of GZ's
mouth and he's a PROVEN liar. The word of a PROVEN liar in court-means he is NOT
CREDIBLE. Get that?! Do you even comprehend for ONE second that perhaps he
realized he'd committed murder and had to get 'a story' to try and keep himself out of jail?
This is a man who has had domestic disputes, has attacked an undercover officer, and has
had run ins with the law after being let into the world a free man though he's a cold
blooded murderer.

Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch person because there was a series of burglaries in
their community.

Crappy neighborhood watch person.

He initially saw Martin and called the police - which he was supposed to do.

No you are not supposed to call police because you SEE someone. You're supposed to
call when you see them IN THE COMMISSION OF A CRIME. The police would get a
LOT of useless calls if people called them EVERY TIME THEY SAW SOMEONE.
(Note-TM was committing no crime)

The dispatcher ( who has no legal authority whatsoever ) told him " we don't need you to
follow him ".

If you choose NOT to listen to the dispatcher and a kid ends up dead, you had better
HOPE against HOPE I'm not on your jury. I'm not like those wimpy women in FL.

Zimmerman replied he had lost sight of him and was returning to his vehicle. The only
logical explanation is Trayvon went looking for Zimmerman...

The OTHER logical explanation is that ZIMMERMAN LIED. You just gloss right over
that don't you.

if he was so scared or concerned about this " white cracker" pedophile, he would have
gone directly to his father's place.

Yeah if you have NO street smarts or NO common sense you lead what you think is a
pedophile home where a younger kid is. If you DO have street smarts or common sense
you DO NOT. Obviously TM was smarter than you.

But no.... he didn't like being punked, so he went looking for trouble.... and he found
trouble.
That GZ did. I agree. TM wasn't looking for trouble, TROUBLE (GZ) looked for HIM.

Psychiatric hospitalization is a medical matter, not a place to punish criminals. Of course,
in the mind of the average American, mental illness and violent crime go hand-in-hand.
How do they know? They watched "The Shining" or learned it from NBC News. Never
mind what the statistics or the majority of mental health professionals or people with
mental illnesses say, right?

Do you want to know who is responsible for the vast majority of violent crimes in
America? (Hint: It isn't people with mental illnesses.)

So who is it?

Young males, that is, males in their mid-teens to mid-twenties.

But what do facts matter? It's just too much fun to stereotype, to ridicule, and to persecute
a group that makes an easy target precisely because they are generally not violent. Right?

times in his life do you think GZ was described as white? I'm guessing not many. Looks
pretty Hispanic to me. My best friend as a child was from Mexico, went to her parents
citizenship ceremony. So I could be mistaken as he was not from Mexico. But he sure
looks Hispanic to me. I feel compelled to ask why anyone who disagrees with you is
being racist? Wondering if you got to Trayvon's Facebook page before his parents shut it
down. I went and found a boy I would not want my teens hanging out with. He bragged
about making the street drug LEAN and using it. I might just consider it teen puffing,
blowing up an ONLINE image but the autopsy report showed extensive liver damage of
the kind reported by using LEAN. Trayvon was shopping for a gun when his Mom sent
him to live with Dad's girlfriend, things could have turned out much differently if he had
found one. Then who would we be blaming? Why no one. GZ could have been killed and
ended up a statistic on page 3 of the Stanford Times.

since a Hispanic can be from Spain, Central America, Mexico, Caribbean Islands, South

out the door. When he went out to the aid o his friend he was told to g back in and mind
his own business. The men who forcibly removed his friend did not identify themselves
as undercover cops and GZ tried to stop them from dragging his friend away. Assault on
a Police officer charges were filed and down graded and GZ was given Community
Service which he completed. A boring truth. Judge did not allow as it was not pertinent to
the case. What would you do given the same circumstances? Would you allow your
friend to be dragged away in an un marked sedan by strangers and dial 911?

He's going to continue to get into trouble because he's a pattern offender and a stupid

murders, but much like Zimmerman he was vindicated. One of the differences is George
was caught red-handed at the scene(No arrest for the fatality or possession of weapon in
connection with slaying). He made the call and Trayvon wound up dead. Seems mighty
suspicious to me for a guy who is observing and reporting.

No, OJ is in his cell, and Zimmerman will be strolling the streets next week, with his gun
tucked into his belt, looking for trouble ..his jurors will be sought out by the press; They
should be sued by Trayvons parents for unjustified manslaughter, but Zimmerman ? Hell,
all he has are some used guns and a long police record, so there's no money to be had
maybe sue those dumb jurors.

I read an op-ed around the time that OJ was last found guilty. The author said that there is
an astronomically high repeat rate for true narcissistic personalities that have been found
not guilty of a violent crime. Basically these individuals develop an even stronger feeling
of invincibility and self assurance that they invariably get sent right back in front of
another jury for another violent crime at some point.

GZ was thought to have been a narcissist by some of the "experts" covering the trial on
TV, thus here we go again.

Even his wife said it herself. She lied for him (about finances for the bail hearing that he
coached her on) and he still turned against her in the end. He kept her close because if she
turned against him, there is no way a "not guilty" verdict would have been returned.
Exactly what he did is exactly what a narcissist does. It is all about what benefits him.
They have no sense for consequences of others around them. Remember, the night of the
incident George and his wife were living separately. I am sure he smoozed her back into
the picture.

Smeado-4257825, I donated the entire cost of a roof for a small church. I also opened up
a soup kitchen in my town this year. I gave my entire savings to my best friend when her
husband lost her job, knowing damn well it would leave me one pay check away from
living on the streets if I ever lost my job. I refused to let her pay me back. Sadly she lost
her battle to cancer in January of 2004. But I would do it all over again to bring her back.

Trayvon was still a MINOR. He DID protect the kid in his home from being accosted by
what he believed was a pedophile though, which I consider to be classy to the MAX. Not
many people would defend a younger child the way Trayvon did that night. I support
ALL pedophiles having the crap kicked out of them. Apparently we have different values

George didn't murder anyone - he acted in self defense. That was proven beyond a
reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Casey could not be proven guilty without the reasonable doubt. There was enough
evidence that her dad was at least suspect for having helped her (if he didn't do it himself
and her crime was looking the other way).
In both cases there is at least a possibility both are innocent. Doubt may cloud over it all,
but there is a possibility...

HAHAHAHA! Sure he did. Perhaps he shouldn't have STARTED the confrontation, then
he MIGHT have a leg to stand on.

That was proven beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

No, it was not. Being found not guilty does not mean it has been proven beyond a
reasonable doubt. Even being found guilty isn't always correct. You must account for
human error.

In both cases there is at least a possibility both are innocent. Doubt may cloud over it all,

Bob, apparently you did not hear the jurists after the verdict. They said they were
confused over the instructions and wished they had convicted him. Funny how most of
them went in with a guilty of 2nd degree or manslaughter but came out with a "not
guilty"!! No one changes their mind that drastically unless they are easily influenced by
others. One of those jurors, my guess is the juror with the attorney husband, is the one
that overpowered them all. Had one of them had the balls to stand with her first choice,
he would have been tried all over again.

EXACTLY, and it's BEYOND sad. Even people who defended OJ at first-stopped. I
don't know anybody who defends him wholeheartedly anymore, though a comedian
(Chris Tucker or Chris Rock can't remember which) was joking on stage about how it
was wrong what OJ did, but he understood it. It's funny when you watch it in context
because the comedian is talented, but the fact of the matter is a guilty man walked free
then, and it happened again with GZ.
