Pu-Chin Waide (25)
Potter Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday 949 Walker Road (703) 759-3436 firstname.lastname@example.org Pu-Chin Waide, stoneware potter, started pottery in India in the mid-1980s under Sardar Gurcharan Singh and his son, Mini. She suspended pottery for about 10 years to study and practice acupuncture. But she took it up again a couple of years ago. She very recently has built a studio. In there you may expect to see decorative and useable art pots such as for the table, the garden, for people and for birds. Most of the glazes are her own, and each pot—be it a platter, bowl, casserole, vase, bottle, bird feeder or bird house—is unique and cannot be duplicated, even by her! Sorry, you will not see sets of things. Directions: From Village center, go south on Walker Road, between the two petrol stations, about 1 mile. The house is on the left up a long driveway (opposite a small pond). There is plenty of parking.
