Please see for a complete skill set, client list, and portfolio. 2008 - 2009 Aptimus/Apollo Group Senior Designer Aptimus, owned by The Apollo Group, is the agency responsible for branding and advertising for The University of Phoenix, the largest private university in the world. I was an integral part of the marketing team, and responsible for both the creation of campaigns and their execution. I was also responsible for keeping abreast of new rich media technologies, and incorporating them into our current methodologies and design. 2007 – 2008 GameLink / Eline (Adult Content) Senior Designer GameLink is one of the largest suppliers of adult content in the US. GameLink's technical and design expertise includes streaming video on demand, pay-per-minute video, chat and video services, download to own services, and affiliate marketing services. Many of the technologies GameLink has created are used by major retailers and entertainment sites. As Senior Designer/Copywriter I performed a wide variety of duties, including Flash design and programming, logo design and branding, art direction, video editing and motion graphic design, copywriting, and marketing analysis. I was often involved with new technologies and initiatives, creating both initial “look and feel” and a finished product. I worked with other designers on a daily basis to refine their designs and techniques to maintain brand continuity. I was laid off due to budget constraints, but continue to do contract work for GameLink. 2005-2006 Active Investment Advisors/IXIS Oakland, CA Creative Director While with Active, I managed a complete rebranding of all sales and marketing materials. I was responsible for creating new marketing materials, web site design, product sheet design, copy, and Flash executable files and web applications. I was also the front-end programmer for Active, and helped create a Java Server Faces application which recommended investments based on the work of Dr. Burton Malkiel. I also became proficient in designing with XSL-FO using XML to create custom PDFs the investment advisors could hand directly to clients. 2003-2005 The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone St. Helena, CA Assistant Director of New Media My position with the CIA entailed storyboarding, designing, programming, and implementing multimedia projects and web sites for the CIA. Clients included Ghirardeli Chocolate, Viking, The Maine Lobster Board, Kikkoman, and the California Beef Council. I also had a variety of other duties, including still and motion camera work, food photography, customer development, writing and proof reading, client interfacing, and audio editing.

2000-2001 CI Design, Inc. Milwaukee, WI Multimedia Director I was hired by CI Design to create a Multimedia Department that would compliment their growing Print Department. CI Design soon became a full-service ad agency, photo studio, and multimedia company. While with CI, I created numerous Web and CD ROM applications, and worked with both designers and clients to keep these projects on time and under budget. I was often the direct interface with clients, and managed both workflow and other designers. CI Design clients included Masterlock, Northwestern Mutual Life, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation, Star Financial Network, and Color Ink. 1997-2000 Northwestern Mutual Life Milwaukee, WI Animation Director - Manager I was hired by Northwestern Mutual Life to produce animations shown to groups of 3000+. Additional duties included mentoring younger designers, Web Design, Multimedia Design & Production, Sound Engineering & Scoring, Logo & Branding Design, and Print Design. I was instrumental in the development of major initiatives, including website and multimedia development, branding and quality assurance, and 720 East (Northwestern's in-house weekly news program). I was a member of The American Management Association. 1996-1997 FETCH Interactive/USWeb New Berlin, WI Lead Animator/ Sr. Web Designer I was hired as a Senior Designer. Duties included Multimedia Design, Web Design, mentoring younger designers, and Client Interaction. Clients included many of the major manufacturing and entertainment companies in Wisconsin, including S.C. Johnson, Caterpillar, Ameriserve, Summerfest, and Marine Bank. As the company expanded, I was assigned to create a Video & Animation Department, and to produce animations and perform video editing for clients. FETCH was purchased by US Web, and became one of the largest and most successful branches of the now defunct design company. 1994-1996 Cybertise, Inc. Milwaukee, WI Art Director As Cybertise’s Art Director, I created web sites for many of Milwaukee's leading businesses. At the height of Cybertise’s success, I directed a group of 3 designers. 1993-1995 ACORN Milwaukee, WI Lead Organizer I was hired as a community organizer by ACORN, to organize low- and moderate-income people around such issues as equal rights, bank lending, community issues, and social justice. The head organizer who hired me was transferred to Arizona, and I was put in charge of the office. I left organizing to pursue a career in graphic design. Skills I have experience in Design Management, Audio Production & Scoring, 2D & 3D Animation, Multimedia & Web Design & Development, Video & Post Production, and Sales. I am a competent and successful team leader, and able to work as both a design mentor and an interface for clients and sales.
