MARCH 22-28 - Delray Beach Film Festival
Celebrating its 5th year, the Delray Beach
Film Festival (DBFF) brings high-quality
independent short and feature-length films
and documentaries, panels and work-
shops, concerts, screenwriter and script-to-
reel contests, actors, celebrities, and par-
ties to Delray Beach.
The Festival offers an impressive line-up of
activities for filmmakers and festival-goers
alike. This year, the DBFF recognizes
Sharon Gless (Burn Notice) and Jessica
Walters (Play Misty for Me) with Lifetime
Achievement Awards. Festivities include
gala events, a Battle of the Bands, cocktail
hours, nightly parties, panels and filmmak-
ing workshops by industry insiders on
screenwriting, film financing, and rights.
What's more, filmmakers can take compli-
mentary surf lessons by pro surfers, and
enter to win a new Mercedes in the
Celebrity Golf Scramble.

MARCH 27-28 - Asian Food Fair & Cultural
Celebrating its 17th year, the event, which
is hosted by the Bangladesh Association of
Florida, presents exemplary classical, folk
and contemporary Asian art forms featur-
ing local, regional, national and interna-

     groups are selected to create a balance
     between professional and amateur artists.

     The Delray GreenMarket presents the 9th
     Annual Easter Bonnet Dog Parade on
     Saturday, April 3rd at 10 a.m. Mutts of all
     sizes will show off their spring attire,
     parading along Atlantic Avenue from the
     GreenMarket on SE 4th Avenue to the
     front lawn of Old School Square. Local
     celebrity judges will award the best doggy
     duds with special prizes. The GreenMarket
     is a Saturday morning open-air market-
     place offering fresh local produce, citrus,
     baked goods, flowers and much more!

     APRIL 9-11 - Delray Affair
     Celebrate South Florida's oldest and largest
     outdoor arts, crafts and entertainment
     events. The 48th Annual Delray Affair,
