Construction Change Order
This Construction Change Order Agreement is made between a contractor and a
property owner when making changes to a contract for construction services. This
document specifies the modifications being made and any changes to the contract price
or construction project completion date. Contractors and property owners should use
this form when making alterations to an existing construction contract.
CONSTRUCTION CHANGE ORDER AGREEMENT
THIS CONSTRUCTION CHANGE ORDER AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”) is made
and entered into as of ___[Date]___ by and between __[Contractor Name]_, with an address of
__________, __________, __________ __________ (hereinafter referred to as the “Contractor”)
and __[Owner Name]__, with an address of __________, __________, __________
__________ (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner”).
WHEREAS, the Contractor and the Owner have previously entered into an agreement entitled
“__[Name of Original Contract]__” dated as of __[Contract Date]__, for the construction
project known as “__[Project Name]__”, with a work order number of __________; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the __[Name of Original Contract]__, any changes or modifications to
such agreement shall be in writing and agreed to by both parties hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor and the Owner hereby present this Agreement to each other for
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises, covenants, warranties, and other
good and valuable consideration as set forth herein, the Contractor and the Owner hereby agree
1. WORK CHANGES
The Owner hereby authorizes the Contractor, and the Contractor hereby agrees to make the

The price agreed upon between the parties in the __[Name of Original Contract]__ remains
unchanged as a result of this Agreement.

The agreed upon completion date for this project in the __[Name of Original Contract]__
remains unchanged as a result of this Agreement.
