All 13 & Under, 17 & Under & Open teams are requested to submit Umpire nominations for the finals. The nomination form is attached, please complete contact details for each umpire as we will contact those that will be umpiring directly to confirm times & courts. Umpire nominations must be submitted by THIS FRIDAY, August 28th.
End of season ‘carnival’
WDNA are happy to advise that we have organised a ‘CARNIVAL’ type experience to mark the end of the Netta & Sub Junior season. Come join us this Saturday between 9.00am and 1.00pm and let the kids enjoy the free bouncy castle, see Roy the Balloon Boy & have their faces painted. Fairly Floss will also be available to purchase.
Club promotion – Saturday 29 august 2009
Our major clubs have been invited to display their promotional material on the veranda for any player to browse and help themselves to information regarding enrolment, etc. This is a great opportunity for all primary school players who are interested in joining a club next year.
Participation Ribbons – Netta through 12 & Under
Participation ribbons will be available for collection from the match office for all Netta, 10 & Under, 11 & Under and 12 & Under teams. They can either be collected by the club coordinator for all teams or each team can collect them individually.
We are pleased to advise that the City of Wanneroo will be upgrading our courts before winter season starts next year. Plans are underway to resurface ALL of the
course and they are also looking into upgrading the lighting. We will provide more information to our members as it becomes available.
Please be advised that the previous date supplied for the AGM was incorrect. The AGM will be held Monday, February 8th 2010.

Semi Final – Changes to starting times
Finals are held for teams in the 13 & Under, 17 & Under and Open age groups only.
Due to the shortage of umpires during the first week of finals we have had to move 5 divisions of the 17 & Under finals forward to play at 11.15am. The schedule for Semi Final times is listed below: 11.15 am 11.15am 1.00pm 2.30pm 4.00pm 13 & Under All Divisions 17 & Under Divisions 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 17 & Under Divisions 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 Open Divisions 2, 4, 6 & 8 Open Divisions 1, 3, 5, 7 & 9

The clubs required to supply volunteers are listed in the table below. Each shift is for two hours and one person is required for the full two hours. Clubs are allowed to split the time into two one hour shifts and provide one volunteer for each hour but shifts CAN NOT be any shorter than one
All volunteers must sign in at the match office prior to starting and sign out when they finish their shift.

A Busy Bee will be held at the Association club rooms Saturday 11 October 2009 between 9am and 12pm. A sausage sizzle and drinks will be provided for any workers. Please contact the office to advise if you are able to assist on the day so we can cater for the right number of people.
Spring registration packs are available for collection from the match office. The information is also available in the Forms section of our website. Registration will be from September 21st – 25th. Games will commence October 14th.
Minties are looking for spring umpire for the 7.30pm timeslot. They will pay $25 per game. If you are interested and available please call Alison on 0427 447 706.
Geelong Sister Association Carnival
Plans are progressing nicely for sending our teams over to Melbourne in November to represent us in an interstate carnival. We have had two fundraising days to date. Nukleen Industrial Cleaners have made a donation of $100 towards this trip and their support is appreciated.
