UAT Procedures

1.Provider to Request Secure FTP Credentials from CMBHS Data Exchange team. Providers need to send email to
Cmbhs.DataExchange@dshs.state.tx.us with:
              a) Contact name, email and phone number of person responsible for batch files for your organization
              b) Do you need CMBHS Online access in order to validate test results?

2.   Detailed Test Procedures are posted on the Provider Website at:

CMBHS recommends that your organization create test cases that cover, at minimum, the following test scenarios:

•Scenario 1 – Submit a new Client & Diagnosis
•Scenario 2 – Submit a new Diagnosis for an existing Client
•Scenario 3 – Submit a new CANS for an existing Client with an existing Diagnosis
•Scenario 4 – Submit a new Baby CANS for an existing Client with an existing Diagnosis
•Scenario 5 – Submit a new Adult Uniform Assessment for an existing Client with a Diagnosis

                                                                              Daily Data Dump Files



The current CARE system provides registration, diagnosis, adult uniform assessment, and child/adolescent uniform
assessment data in each providers EDTS system’s RDM folder on a daily basis (Monday through Friday). Each file
contains all records that were updated (lastup_dt/lastup_tm) since the last file for the center was extracted. DSHS is
developing the same functionality in CMBHS.
       – Does anyone use the data currently provided by CARE?
       – If yes, is anyone opposed to these being in the same Xml format as the batch files coming in from providers
           for the adult uniform assessment and child/adolescent uniform assessment data?
