   We are looking for a Metal Fabrication Process Developer to join our team. This person must be able to
efficiently multitask within the production code weld shop environment to assist with quote development, project
   processing and facility development. Job duties include: developing quality manufacturing documentation,
  serve as technical liaison, be responsible for Capital Equipment and Productivity planning and interface with
                  manufacturing team leaders to respond to schedule, quality and delivery needs.
                                 This excellent opportunity is located in Livonia, MI.
       • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.
       • Minimum 5 years’ producing metal fabricated components
       • Previous experience with process development within the Metal Fabrication arena.
       • Previous quoting experience.
       • CAD skills including modeling, drawing, surfacing, working with sheet metal and tubing.
       • Previous GD & T experience.
       • Understanding of weld symbols and their application, an understanding of the skill sets employed by
       • Knowledge of different materials and specifically knowledge around steel, aluminum and exotic
       • Understanding and experience of fabrications (large and small).
       • Understanding and experience of special processes: plating, coatings, painting, heat treating etc.
       • Thorough understanding of engineering drawings, standards and specifications.
       • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
       • Strong verbal and written communication skills to Interact with both customers and suppliers.
