REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN A
LOCAL BUSINESS TAX CERTIFICATE
Prior to submitting an application, please contact the Zoning Department first at 954-797-2225
to determine if the proposed use is allowed at the location you are requesting.
Complete the Local Business Tax Certificate Application.
Write a notarized letter of intent to be submitted with your application, which must include the

If your business is operating from a mailbox you must supply a copy of the mailbox lease.
Code compliance inspections are required which cost $270. This fee may be waived if your
business is sharing space. These inspections are not required for a home or mail box based
