RE: RSA 277-B the New Hampshire Employee Leasing Law
Attached you will find RSA 277-B, relative to Employee Leasing that became law
effective October 1, 1994. There are severe penalties for operating in the state of New
Hampshire without benefit of licensure.
Also included with this letter are a copy of the applicable Employee Leasing rules
Chapter LAB 1500, a checklist of required attachments and a copy of the Parent
Company Agreement (for subsidiaries only). A non-refundable application fee of $100 is
required for each of the applications.
A copy of RSA 277-B, LAB 1500, the checklist of required attachments, the
Employee Leasing Initial and Renewal Applications and an example for the required
Surety Bond are available on our website at www.nh.gov/labor/workers-comp/employee-
A Certificate of Good Standing is required from both the New Hampshire
Department of Employment Security at 603-224-3311; and the New Hampshire
Department of Revenue at 603-271-2191.
Upon review and acceptance of your application, this department will notify you
that an initial license fee is due. We will then issue a one-year license, subject to annual
renewal, for each approved leasing company.
Please return a completed employee-leasing application, in addition to the
required materials, as soon as possible. Feel free to contact this department should you
