ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Elementary Art (Grades 1-5): New Students – In order that all elementary students have good quality and the specific brand of Art Supplies that are requested for class use, you will purchase the Art Class Supplies (a Portfolio, drawing pad and watercolor paint) from the Art Teacher at the beginning of the school year. Returning Students may be asked to purchase a Portfolio, drawing pad and / or watercolor paint if yours are not the specific brand or quality requested last year. These will be made available for purchase from the Art Teacher at the beginning of the school year. A note will be sent home with more information in August. We hope that this makes it simpler for you.

1st Grade: Every student will need the following supplies. Please buy the best quality that you possibly can so the supplies will hold up. 12 pencils (not mechanical); 4 erasers; 1 box of 20-25 crayons; 5 glue sticks; rounded-tip scissors; pouch-type pencil case that zips closed (It must be big enough for a few pencils, eraser, scissors and glue stick. Please do NOT buy the type that is already filled with supplies or that has individual spaces for each item); indoor shoes with non-marking soles that are suitable for PE (Please buy slip-on or Velcro shoes. Your child will be changing shoes several times each day); 2 A4-size folders. Please do not bring pens, markers or colored pencils. Please label everything in permanent marker with the child’s initials, if possible. 2nd Grade: 2 pencils (students should have 2 pencils at all times); crayons or colored pencils (markers often bleed through papers and are discouraged); 1 large eraser for pencil; box or container to use for storing pencils and crayons; 3 folders; 2 boxes of tissues to start the year; water bottle for desired; If you send in a pencil sharpener it needs to have a cover on it; 2 small lined composition books 3rd Grade: 8 folders: homework, math, science, social studies, Bible, reading, language, and Hungarian; 4 large spiral notebooks: reading, science, social studies, math; 1 small notebook: for memory verses and journal; water bottle; several pencils; 1 set colored pencils; 1 set crayons; 1 set markers; 1 glue stick; 1 pair of scissors; 1 red pen; several erasers; 1 box tissues; a pencil box to keep all of your supplies in; P.E. shoes 4th Grade: 8 folders (1 for Hungarian); 5 large notebooks (1 needs graph lines for Science); 3 small notebooks (1 for Hungarian); red pens; black pens; blue pens; pencils; scissors; erasers; crayons; colored pencils; pencil case; glue stick; inch/cm. ruler; water bottle; indoor/PE shoes; 2 boxes of tissues 5th Grade: 1 glue stick; 1 pair of indoor shoes (PE); 1-2 bags of candy (individually wrapped); 2 boxes of tissues; 5 notebooks (2 graph, 3 lined); 7 pocket folders; calculator (basic functions); color pencils & markers; correcting pens (red/green); pencil case; pencils & erasers; protractor & compass; scissors; writing pens (blue/black)

MIDDLE SCHOOL 6th Grade: Math: scientific calculator, protractor, compass, ruler with cm’s and inches (if possible), folder or binder, notebook (paper), graph paper, pen/pencil, book cover Science: binder with 5 dividers, pencils and pens, colored pencils, scissors, one highlighter English: A5 composition notebook, loose-leaf paper

World Cultures & Geography: A two-ring or four-ring binder; dividers to go in the binder for notes, handouts, and homework; color pencils; one bag of some sort of bite-sized candy.
