Women’s Ministry

Vision

Seek to evangelize to the women of Bay Area and foster a Christian fellowship among non believers.

•

Major Goals/Activities for 2007-2008 – To have quarterly Women’s Breakfast meetings. – Assist in cooking, selling and organizing the various food stalls during the harvest festival. – Assisting and serving food during the Christmas and Easter outreaches. – To raise funds for the Church retreat through food-2-go and bake-sale from the month of March to July. – Women’s Bible studies conducted every Wednesday in our church. – To contact the new members and introduce them to activities in our church. – To have a fasting prayer for women once or twice a year. Have one-day retreat once a year. Needs/Challenges/Issues – Need more women’s participation in women’s fellowship meeting. – Need more committed women volunteers to hold different responsibilities in women’s ministries. – Need support from men’s ministries and other ministries during the outreach ministries. – Updating the new women’s web page in the CCI web site. – Please pray for Lord’s guidance to handle this ministry.

Prison Ministry

Praise God for participation in Bill Glass Prison ministries in San Bernadino , Fresno and Oakland prisons . All the new volunteers had a day long extensive training last year Payment/Reimburisment ? Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

Parenting Ministry

• Vision – That we may grow to be godly parents • Goal – Equip the parents for bringing-up the children in God’s way – Provide opportunity to share, learn and pray • Highlights of 2007 – 8 of 9 lessons from “Effective Parenting in Defective World” video based class completed • Major Goals/Activities for 2008 – Start Boundaries with children series – Invite good experts to share with parents – Collect and share helpful resources

Bible Study Ministry
• Vision/Goal – “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” – 2 Tim 3:16-17 • Major Goals/Activities for 2008 – Started a new study – “Isaiah”

Provide Pastor with all the means to conduct the service in an orderly manner; Coordinate various activities in the Sanctuary for a smooth conduct of service. Keep the Communion supplies ready; Prepare communion before service Ushering, Distribute Communion, Collect offertory Keep Bulletins / Sermon Notes ready before service Sanctuary cleanup (bulletins/scrap paper,arrange bible, hymnal, pens...) Prayer Ministry

A fervently praying Church, fully surrendered to Christ, her bridegroom, interceding with perseverance, praying in the Spirit, for the advancement of the Kingdom of God through all our ministries. • • • Vision – Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. – Proverbs 22:6 Vision Statement – To share the love of Jesus with each child, to foster a deep abiding love for Him, His word, and His church. Faithfully teach the children about God in creative and fun ways. Demonstrate the love of Christ week by week. Involve the children in ministering to other. Goals – Switch to a web based application for Sunday school tracking – Implement changes to reward programs so as to scale with the Sunday school growth. – Victory through prayer – Salvation for the kids. Major Activities for 2008 - 09 – BASS convention for Sunday School Teachers – 3 day VBS program for the kids – Christmas musical with all the Sunday School children. Needs – Prayers for the Sunday school teachers and the kids. – Additional classrooms – Computers for the classrooms – Emergency preparedness.
