Employment Report, Florida, Texas, Washington State, and the Carolinas are among the U.S. states with the
largest number of jobs and job growth in September, with the South Atlantic region is generating the largest
number of new private-sector jobs in September. This most recent economic news release indicates that the
economy added 166,000 jobs overall with increases seen in the Manufacturing, Professional and Business
Services, Trade, Transportation, and Utilities Industries.

A recent job search on Hound.com, an employment-based aggregation site that features global job
opportunities, mirrors the ADP Employment Report with respect to the following categories within the
Professional and Business Services sector. The site indicates an increase in the following positions available in
this sector: Accounting (35,535), Law (18,876), Information Technology (110,900), Project Management
(18,382), Hospitality (173,484), and Customer Service (91,233).

The job market currently is favoring those in the Professional and Business sector, and Trade, Transportation
and Utilities in California, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Texas, according to the findings from ADP.
The strongest growth is in the West South Central and South Atlantic region. The ADP report indicates that the
employment increases are noted within these key states: California added 127,942 jobs, Texas added 102,436
jobs, Florida added 65,903 jobs, New Jersey added 32,509 jobs, New York added 58,375 jobs, and Illinois
added 49,023 jobs.
