					Ivan Dimov
Ivan Dimov (1927, Kazanlak) graduated from the State Academy of Music in 1953. He studied composition with
Prof. Marin Goleminov. He has been conductor of the choir at the Stara Zagora Opera since 1954. He specialized
with Dmitri Kabalevski at the Moscow Conservatory in 1963. Since 1965 he has been teacher at the Academy for
Music and Dance Art - Plovdiv. He was conductor in Kardjali and Yambol and Director of the Plovdiv
Philharmonic. Ivan Dimov is holder of the award of Union of Bulgarian Composers and “Plovdiv” Award.
