                                        Performance Objectives
                  Write at least three performance objectives for the upcoming year.
   At least one objective should be from position description and if a supervisor, one should cover
  supervisory responsibilities and unit results. Planning Objectives should be Specific, Measurable,
 Action oriented, Realistic, and Time bound (SMART) and be aligned with EHE or University goals.

  Identify Values to focus on for the year. They should be values that are important for success in the
     position. They may be chosen because the employee is good at them and you want to support
continuation of the behavior, to have them model for others, OR because the employee does not exhibit
               the value often enough in their work and you want them to exhibit more.

                                       Professional Development
    Identify one to two Professional Development Goals that are needed for career progression, are
   aspirational or could enhance knowledge or skills used in the position. If the employee is lacking
  knowledge or skills necessary to perform the core duties of the position this should be moved to be a
performance objective for the year and evaluated accordingly. Professional Development Goals should
                             also be SMART to support their achievement.
