race car and road car. Due to steady growth, we have an immediate opening for a Design & Release
Engineer who will be involved in the design, release, and development of powertrain, chassis and body
systems and components. The ideal candidate must show a capacity to quickly assimilate and understand the
implications of new developments and be ready to respond appropriately to situations as they evolve.
The position is located in Plymouth, Michigan.
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years’ powertrain systems design engineering experience
Experience with OEM automotive engineering systems and processes
Experience with production assembly and manufacturing processes, including launch
Excellent organizational skills, including strong ability to prioritize work assignments
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team settings
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Powertrain Systems (Induction, Intake, Fuel Charging, FEAD)
o Fuel System
o Exhaust system
o Vehicle Wiring
o Chassis Systems (Springs, Dampers, Rims, Tires)
o Interior System (Seating, Floor Mats)
o Body System (Fascias, Hoods)
