of

They
are

in
the

on
emerging
and
established
artists
such
as
Naomi
Fisher,
 Massimo
Vitali,
Hank
Willis
Thomas,
Adam
McEwen
and
Walead
Behty.

Their
contemporary

 recently
constructed
on

was
designed
by

Together
they
have

 Jose
Alonso
and
Anna
Suarez
Burgos,
husband
and
wife,
met
each
other
thanks
to
the
visual
arts
back
in
 1994.
Jose
is
an
art
dealer
and
Anna
is
an
interior
designer,
so
it
was
only
natural
that
they
started
 collecting
art
together.

However,
each
of
them
had
been
collecting
on
their
own
before
they
met.
Jose
 had
been
collecting
mainly
Contemporary
Cuban
Art
and
Anna,
American
Pop
Art;
mainly
works
by
Andy
 Warhol
and
Keith
Haring.
 Although
their
collection
is
eclectic

Contemporary
Latin
American
Art
became
their
common
ground
over
time.
In
recent
years
 their
collecting
has
been
shifting
heavily
towards
photography,
a
medium
that
has
been
instrumental
in
 Contemporary
Latin
American
Art
reaching
the
international
art
mainstream.
 Born
in
Cuba,
Anna
Suarez
Burgos
has
been
in
the
U.S.
since
1964
and
has
been
an
interior
designer
for
 almost
30
years.
She
currently
has
high‐scale
residential
projects
throughout
the
U.S.
(New
York,

Angeles)
and
Europe
(London,
San
Sebastian,

Also
born
in
Cuba,
 Jose

arrived
in
the
U.S.

1992
and

15
years,
specializing
in
 contemporary
Latin
American
Art
with
an
emphasis
in
Cuban
Art.
They
have
been
married
since
1995.

 Alberto
Chehebar
started
collecting
17
years
ago
inspired
by
a
Keith
Haring
"subway
drawing"
that
he
 acquired
from
a
small
gallery
in
New
York.
As
a
student
he
was
very
much
influenced
by
Haring,
both
by
 his
rebellion
and
his
simple
approach
to
art
and
the
fact
that
it
was
accessible
to
everybody.
Fast
 forward
16
years
and
Alberto’s
devotion
to
collecting
and
living
with
art
has
become
an
integral
part
of
 his
life.

Alberto
collects
established
and
Miami
artists,
including
Jack
Pierson,
Cindy
Sherman,
Andy
 Warhol,
Tom
Friedman,
Helmut
Newton,
Daniel
Arsham
and
many
others
wiith
no
process,
era
or
a
 style,
focusing
instead
on
the
emotions
they
evoke
in
him.

Alberto
is
active
in
the
arts
community
and
 serves
on
the
Art
Basel
Miami
Beach
Junior

Committee.

Their
 collection
leans
towards
conceptual
art
and
they
have
a
wide
variety
of
work
from
traditional
paintings
 to
sculptures,
to
works
on
paper.
 They
historically
enjoy
German
artists
and
have
pieces
from
Martin
Kippenberger,
Franz
West,
Cosima
 von
Bonin,

 In

pieces.

They
are
 particularly
fond
of
Brazilians,
having
a
few
pieces
from
Sergio
Rodriguez
and

Their
personal
 favorite
piece

the
dining

is
a
reclaimed
bowling
alley
from
the
Philippines!

Felipe
Grimberg
and
Eduardo
Ojeda,
Baypoint
 Felipe
Grimberg
and
Eduardo
Ojeda
are
art
enthusiasts,
successful
art
dealers
and
collectors.

Felipe’s
 love
of
art
started
while
he
was
studying
textile
design
in
Philadelphia;
from
there,
he
could
spend
most
 of
his
weekends
visiting
art
museums
and
galleries
in
New
York.

His
passion
for
art
led
him
to
develop
 his
own
business,
focusing
his
efforts
on
finding
and
sharing
art
with
the
world.

Eduardo’s
interest
in
art
 increased
after
meeting
Felipe
and
being
inspired
by
his
profound
love
of
and
dedication
to
art.

 Eduardo
is
an
experienced
business
professional
who
worked
many
years
in
the
furniture
industry
 before
committing
himself
to
the
art
cause.

Both
native
Colombians
came
to
Miami
10
years
ago
and
decided
to
combine
their
talents
to
expand
 their
business,
Felipe
Grimberg
Fine
Art.

They
have
since
increased
their
selection
of
artists,
 participated
in
many
art
venues
and
inspired
more
and
more
people
to
incorporate
art
into
their
lives.

The
home
of
Felipe
and
Eduardo
is
a
mix
of
American
architecture
and
contemporary
design.
The
home
 was
built
in
1951
and
is
located
in
the
charming
Baypoint
neighborhood—one
of
Miami’s
best
kept
 secrets.
The
home’s
façade
is
classic
Georgian
Colonial
style,
but
with
a
flair.
Upon
entering
the
bright
 red
front
door,
you
discover
that
perfect
harmony
exists
between
the
contemporary
interior
and
décor
 and
the
fine
artwork
that
adorns
the
walls.

The
collection
is
a
combination
of
contemporary
art
from
American,
European,
and
Latin
American
 artists.
The
majority
of
the
works
are
paintings
from
a
variety
of
artists,
including
Balkenhol,
Bourgeois,
 Muñiz,
Morimura,
Lerma,
and
Botero,
among
others.
The
collection
is
very
representative
of
Felipe
and
 Eduardo’s
modern
style
and
unique
taste
in
art.

 Gloria
and
Sergio
Leyva,
Coral
Gables
 Sergio
and
Gloria
Leyva
reside
in
a
new
home
designed
and
built
according
to
their
contemporary
taste.
 The
house
is
decorated
with
an
eclectic
combination
of
lights
and
colors.
They
have
focused
their
 collection
on
art
pieces
from
Latin
American
Masters
including
Jose
Bedia,
Gustavo
Acosta,
Nicolas
Leiva
 and
Gustavo
Marino.
 Several
years
ago
Sergio
and
Gloria
moved
from
Colombia
in
search
of
opportunity.
They
discovered
an
 excellent
environment
in
Miami
to
establish
their
family
and
dedicate
their
energies
and
skills
to
help
 serve
the
community.
They
established
a
tire
company
to
service
companies
in
construction
and
 logistics.
They
feel
privileged
to
be
a
part
the
city’s
transformation
throughout
the
years,
contributing
to
 the
rise
of
the
arts
and
meeting
many
of
the
Latin
American
artists
that
call
Miami
home.
They
thank
 MOCA
for
allowing
them
the
chance
to
be
friends
and
enjoy
and
share
art
with
all
of
you
tonight.

and
art
related
 non‐profits
like

Projects
by
hosting
visiting
artists.

Their
passion
for
art,
design
and
family
is
 clearly
evident
in
