Job Description
TECS is language organisation, teaching English to Spanish children. We employ native English speakers to work directly with the children or to work within specific support roles. We run TEFL classes (taught by TEFL teachers) and an activity programme (run by our monitors). We look for fun loving, active people who love working in a children’s environment. We have 4 Camps in Southern Spain in Andalucia: two on the coast in the province of Cadiz, in El Puerto de Santa Maria and Sotogrande, one in the mountains in province of Cadiz, Grazalema and one in mountains of El Chorro, Malaga. Salaries depend on the position and length of contract and can be viewed on the relevant job profile. For all positions, accommodation is provided on the camp facilities and all meals are included as part of the conditions. We also operate a performance related bonus system. Start Date: 23.06.09 for most positions but please check job profile for the position you are interested in.

The staff will be employed for at least 9 weeks during the summer. The majority will be general sports staff but we will also be looking for a tennis coach, up to 3 young learners activities leaders, as well as course co-ordinators for our Leisure/Activities and excursions/Young learners (8-11 year olds) courses. Staff work 6 days, plus three evenings during the week. From Mon - Fri 9am 5pm staff will coach/teach sports to International Junior students (aged 8 - 17). Other times of the day staff will perform residential duties. These could include manning the social programme (e.g. Karaoke, Disco, competitions, Talent shows etc) or being on duty (e.g. answering students enquiries, patrolling the college). This is an opportunity to gain work experience ideal for students interested in developing a career in event management or arts administration. Festival Assistants are vital to the smooth running of the Festival.
