Villacana and its on-site facilities
Villacana has been called one of the finest complexes on this
coast line in terms of having a most pleasing atmosphere.
Maybe this is because the immaculately-maintained, 2-storey
houses were built over 20 years ago in the attractive,
traditional Andalusian-style of white with archways and
beautiful flowers and plants that have had time to mature.
And maybe too, it is because of the friendly atmosphere, built
up over the years, and probably created by the private villa
owners, and extending to the staff, who are always on hand to
From the Villacana Main Pool
and sunbathing area you step

private small pools which
are scattered amongst
the town houses. You will

Directions from Malaga Airport:
Leave the airport following the signs for Malaga, keeping in the
right hand lanes until you come to a roundabout near the San
Miguel brewery. Keeping in the right hand lane follow signs to
Cadiz, and you will join a dual carriageway. Keeping right, after
about a mile there will be a right turn off to
Benalmadena/Algeciras (look for the blue sign). Take this, and
you will be on the motorway - bear in mind now that you need to
keep travelling in the direction of Cadiz if ever in doubt.
After several miles the motorway will split and you will stay
left to take the Motorway, the E15 Autopiste, or you could
take the N340 which is the coastal road. However, we would
recommend the E15 to get you there faster. On the E15 you
will encounter two toll areas, and they will happily give you
change for your euros.
Stay on the E15 until signposted ‘Estepona Ojen’ (East). Leave
the E15 here and join the N340 signposted for Marbella.
Follow this road for approximately 4.5 Km passing the
Kempinski Hotel and Dominion Beach resort amongst others on
the right hand side. After going over the river on the ‘Rio
Guadalmensa’ bridge take the next exit/slip road and turn right
just after Casitas Classiques. Follow the road down a slight
incline with Albayalde on the left. Bear right at the bottom of
the road past Mini Market and enter via the security barrier
on the left.
It would be much easier to tell you what is NOT
available in this part of the Costa del Sol! You really
can design the holiday to be the way YOU want it to be.
Furthermore, to help you, Villacana provide each villa
with a book full of loads of local information to help
you get the best from your holiday. Here’s a flavour of
what is available locally:
This part of the coast
is famous for its
restaurants, and offers
upmarket Robbie’s in
Estepona for that
special occasion, Gran Hotel Elba, Estepona
through a large variety
of international restaurants at a range of price levels, through
to a posh Fish and Chip shop a short car ride away. Oh, and if
you fancy a take-away there are plenty of those too!
The good news is that the owners are compiling a book of
restaurants – so you can follow their suggestions if you like,
and/or you can find your own (in which case please add them to
Whilst many restaurants are a car/taxi ride away, there are
also plenty in walking distance. We love to walk over the
footbridge to Cancelada and eat in one of the restaurants
there (take the toddler in the buggy!), and of course there are
the great restaurants on site.
Forgot to buy that last minute outfit? Fear not – close by are
the wonderful shops of Puerto Banus, try either the boutiques
on the Harbour front, or in the wonderful stores behind the
café area. Leave the kids with hubby enjoying a cool drink on
the front, whilst you relax and enjoy a bit of retail therapy!
And its not just clothes you can buy here – try the new Zara
Home or the fantastic Department Store El Corte Inglés.
Alternatively look around the more Spanish style shops in
Estepona and San Pedro and pick up the local atmosphere.
Whilst on the subject
of shopping, even the
chaps seem to enjoy
the colourful street
bargains can be found.
There are street
markets most days of
the week in various
nearby towns, just a
short trip away.
Details in the Villacana book, await you at Alberto 30.
Apart from the many sports facilities at Villacana and on the
beach you will find a number of excellent Golf courses within a
5 minute drive of Villacana. Just a little further away are the
famous Sotogrande and Valderrama. There is a weekly
competition organised on site at different courses each week,
or the on site management team can arrange specific tee times
Also within 5 minutes’ drive you will find Horse Riding, Fishing,
Go-Carting and the Aqua Park.
And if that’s not enough, then within 10 minutes’ drive you can
find just about anything you can imagine, including Pony
Trekking, Wind surfing, Boating, Water skiing, Safari Park,
Bowling, Clay Pigeon Shooting and of course a Casino!
Villacana is a most popular complex, and booking early is
advised, where possible. Its popularity is down to two things.
Firstly the friendly environment, and the large percentage of
English owners and renters, with top level 24 hour security and
excellent on-site facilities; and secondly the fact that FOR
ALL THIS our prices are up to 50% lower than most around in
the area. Why? Because at Villacana we prefer to keep the
complex busy, enabling the management to maintain the
properties to high standards, and to keep the place buzzing.
Just as you like it.
What’s more, by booking directly with ourselves, the owners,
you get 10% discount, which is reflected in the price below.
These prices include water, electricity including air
conditioning and heating, also change of bedding and towels
plus cleaning every 7 days.
7% local tax should be added to the prices below.
