Junckers Professional Hardwax Oil
General Description
Junckers Professional Hardwax Oil is suitable for sanded and untreated parquet floors.
Junckers Professional Hardwax Oil protects the floor and gives the floor a light warm appearance.
Junckers Professional Hardwax Oil is used for both priming and finishing. Certain porous timbers
may require additional coats to achieved desired result.
Technical Data
Product: Hard wax and drying oil in solvents.
Package sizes: 2.5 and 5 litres.
Appearance: Haze light brown liquid. Dries up to a clear film.
Gloss level: Matt to Satin.
Coverage: 20-30 m2 per litre.
Application tools: Stainless steel spatula, roller or brush. According to gloss a
white or red pad for polishing.
Substrate temperature: Minimum 10°C.
Dilution: Delivered ready for use.
Drying time: Dry to touch approx. 4 hours at 20°C.
Recoating approx. 6 hours at 20°C.
Buffing approx. 16 hours at 20°C.
Full cure after 6 days at 20°C.
Cleaning of tools: Junckers Thinner 007.
Storage: Lasts for 2 years if unopened and stored at 20°C.
Once opened the product will start to form a skin and may harden in
the can.

Directions for Use
Untreated/sanded floors
The surface should be clean, dry and free from dust, wax, grease, polish etc. Machine sand the floor as
advised under Previously treated floors to remove dirt and irregularities. The last sanding should be
carried out by using minimum grit 120 sandscreen mesh before applying Junckers Professional
Hardwax Oil . Thoroughly clean off the sanding dust (e.g. by vacuuming).
Apply Junckers Professional Hardwax Oil using suitable tools. Allow to penetrate then remove
surplus material using buffing machine and soft cloth or pad. When dry apply subsequent coats as
described.
To improve gloss, buff using white pad after a minimum 16 hours.
Previously treated floors:
Machine sand using grit 24-36. Remove abrasion marks with grit 60-80. Finally, use grit 100-120 to
obtain a completely smooth surface. Vacuum sanding dust and prime the floor as described under
“Untreated/ sanded floors”.
Cleaning:
Add Junckers Sylva Cleaner to the cleaning water.
Maintenance:
Use Junckers RUSTIC TOP OIL for refreshing of the surface. For worn surfaces use Junckers
Professional Hardwax Oil to restore the surface protection.

Wait until full cure before replacing rugs or carpets.
