BULLETIN BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS
SUNDAY SCHOOL PROMOTION: October is "Celebrate Sunday
School". If you are not currently attending Sunday school and do not know what
class to attend, call the church office (435-5020) during the week and we will help
you connect with a class and have someone available on Sunday morning to direct
you to the classroom. Adults, we have 2 men's, 3 women's and 2 co-ed classes.
You are invited to attend any of these classes before deciding which one you would
like to join. We also have a College/Career class for young adults.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR: The children's choir has begun practice for their
Christmas musical titled "Christmas Hang-ups". All children, kindergarten through
sixth grade, are encouraged to participate.
NO PRACTICE TODAY
Practice schedule for the following Sunday's 10:15am -11:00am.
Other practices may be announced at a later date.
QUARTERLY BUSINESS MEETING: Our Quarterly Business Meeting will
be held next Sunday, October 18th at the beginning of the PM service.
T-SHIRTS: We have some Children's Fundraiser T-shirts that were ordered and
have not been picked up. We will hold these shirts until next Sunday, October 18th
and then offer them for sale to others after this date. Cost of the shirts are $12
YOU ARE INVITED: You are invited to join Lamar & Joyce Denkins in
celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at
West Weaver Baptist Church from 2-4 pm. No Gifts Please!
SOMETIMERS APPLE TRIP: If you are signed up to go on the Apple trip on
October 20th, please stop by the church office this week with your
payment of $20.
SOMETIMERS NASHVILLE TRIP: We still have six spaces left for the
Nashville trip on December 17-19th. Cost of this trip is $320 per person. Please
stop by the church office with a deposit of $50 if you would like to go on this trip.
Highlights are: Room at The Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel, Louise Mandrell Dinner
Show, Day Tour of Nashville, dinner at Santa Fe Cattle Co, choice of tickets to see
the Rockettes or The Grand Ole Opry, Cracker Barrel Gift Card for breakfast, and
free time for shopping. You'll also stopover on the way to Nashville for a catered
meal by Craig Davidson, former church member of Williams. Craig, Bobbie & family
now reside in Lacassas, TN. BALANCE DUE BY NOVEMBER 1ST.
