    We have examined conflict as a source of historic
    change
-   The cultural and contextual roots of major conflicts
-   The immediate and longer term impact of these conflicts
-   How the modern world is shaped by its recent troubled
    past

   We have also largely focussed on international affairs
    and hostilities which has involved (and changed) the
    whole globe
