  were	
  asked	
  to	
  withdraw	
  our	
  applica2on	
  and	
  resubmit	
  aOer	
  addressing	
  
   the	
  WCCUSD	
  staff	
  findings.	
  	
  We	
  chose	
  to	
  proceed	
  with	
  our	
  pe22on	
  appeal	
  
   because:	
  
    •  39	
  of	
  the	
  49	
  findings	
  were	
  factually	
  inaccurate	
  and	
  the	
  remaining	
  ten	
  
          went	
  beyond	
  what	
  was	
  legally	
  required	
  or	
  were	
  based	
  on	
  conjecture	
  
    •  None	
  of	
  these	
  are	
  legi2mate	
  grounds	
  for	
  rejec2ng	
  our	
  pe22on	
  
    •  Board	
  and	
  staff	
  had	
  indicated	
  to	
  us	
  their	
  clear	
  opposi2on	
  to	
  our	
  pe22on	
  
          even	
  before	
  it	
  was	
  submiYed	
  and	
  aOer	
  submission	
  indicated	
  that	
  we	
  
          had	
  liYle	
  chance	
  of	
  approval
