Interesting Facts that You Did Not Know About Los Angeles International Airport

May Americans do not know that LAX or the Los Angeles International Airport sees more than 60,000,000 passengers annually and this makes it one of the busiest airports in the country. It is incidentally the fifth most rushed airports of the world as well. LAX is a hub for three main airlines – United Airlines, Alaska Airlines and Virgin America and most of the business of these airlines is monitored through their LA offices. Airport parking LAX takes around 500 acres of land near the Pacific Ocean. The airport is around 15 miles from the city and due to its proximity with the sea, sees a heavy load of traffic on weekends. It also witnesses fogs occasionally. People generally like LAX airport parking as they can sit on the Imperial Hill spot and watch low flying planes passing overhead. History Like any other project, LAX also began with a smaller vision. In 1928, a small airfield was created and the LA City Council decided to maintain it for the state guests. It was initially named Mine’s Field, as a tribute to the real estate agent who set up the purchase. The first building was built in 1920 which was used as a hangar for planes. This Hangar is also listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Airport parking Los Angeles may have seen many changes since then but the level of comfort ability is still the same. People can get the bookings done online to avoid any time delay later

and can park their cars without any trouble. Los Angeles airport parking is in fact a model parking system for many international airports. It was built by Pereira & Luckman, a great architectural firm in 1958. They started with putting heavy machinery and systems and later developed runways.
