                                          ABSTRACT.

This field report was aimed to make the link between course theories and field work in the real
job situation (practical). The field work started on July 2nd 2012 up to August 30th 2012 at Iramba
District Council.

The field work was based on the following duties: Identification and use of document, receiving
and issue of document, stock location, stock taking, purchasing cycle and knowledge about
PPRA.

During PT, I learned how to identify and use documents such as certificate of original, packing
list, invoices.

However, I learned how items are received and issued in the organization through the use of
local purchasing order (LPO) and local purchase register.

Moreover, I get more knowledge on how organization conducts stock taking (verification of
goods/items held within storage and recording respectively), stock location, use of PPRA and
purchasing cycle.
