There are several study tips students should learn before they dive in headfirst into attending school.
Many of the following tips can be tailored to meet your specific needs and personality.
One of the most important things you can do as a
student is to keep up with your work. This may seem
like an obvious piece of advice, but you would be
surprised at how easy it is to fall behind in your
Just one day of not doing the reading can set you
back pretty far. It may seem like doing the readings
isn’t really a necessary part of your studies, but doing
the readings could not be more important.
The readings are the meat and potatoes of the class. If you don’t do the readings, than you will most
likely not understand some of the concepts that are gone over in class.
It is also very important to do the assignments that are assigned for your class. This also may seem

Don’t Miss the First Day of Class
This may also seem obvious, but many people skip the first day of class because they think it isn’t

and all of the assignments that will be required
throughout the semester.
If you do not attend the first day of class, you will
miss out on all of the discussion about how the
class will go for the rest of the semester. You won’t
be missing any learning material, but you will be
missing information that is nearly as important as
the learning material.
All in all, it is important to be a good student. If you would like to be a good student, following these tips
is greatly advised.
Good luck with all of your education and schooling in the future. If you work hard, you will get your
