Name at least eight occupations 2. Put the pictures in order based on the song played. Time: 60 minutes Teaching Aids: Laptop, LCD , board and marker, picture cards Prepared By: Connie Henry Anchangan Activity Notes 1. Teacher opens the following link; http://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/en/songs/people-work 2. The pupils listen to the song then sing along. The first person who gets it all filled wins. 3. Teacher asks the pupils to recall the occupations in the song. The teacher writes the vocabulary on the board.(tailor, doctor, farmer, babysitter, teacher, plumber, dentist, fireman) 4. Teacher divides the pupils into groups. Each group comprises of 8 pupils. They are given a set of pictures related to occupation. Each group needs to put the picture in order while listening to the song. The group that is able to put the pictures in order is considered the winner. 5. Teacher gives students the occupation cards and a set of cards with the vocabulary on it. Students match the picture with the word. Then students mix up the cards and play a memory game with them. 6. Pupils do the worksheet in the link. Extended activity: Making a scrapbook. Collect the picture of occupations.
