Most Innovative Small Businesses Of 2013 Entrepreneur Magazine.
Online PR News – 18-June-2013 – Lisa Cash Hanson is like most parents these days who have been raised
in the digital age. Many times you can find her with her smart phone in hand. One day as her daughter
Matilda was kicking during diaper changes she realized she needed help. No product did the job so as the
saying goes - Mother of Invention, this mother invented it.
The Snuggwugg is an interactive diaper changing pillow with a smart phone option. Snuggwugg fits securely
around a baby's abdomen and acts as a barrier so the parents can change diapers in piece. The baby is
happy and content exploring sights, sounds and maybe even diaper and a movie?
Lisa's idea caught the attention of Huggies and won the 2012 Huggies MomInspired Grant. She was given
$15,000 in seed money to launch her dream and recently that dream was named in Entrepreneur Magazine
as one of the 10 Most innovative small businesses of 2013.
Not only are parents getting more tech savvy but they are raising a generation of techie toddlers too.
Snuggwugg is set to launch in retail outlets across the USA in 2013. The company also plans to add their
own brand of customized apps.
"It's my dream to be able to take the frustration away from parents during diaper changes. I know what it's like
to have a baby wrestling match on your hands and take a kick to the chin during diaper changes. I'm so
thankful the Snuggwugg put an end to that. We are extremely thankful that Entrepreneur Magazine loved our
idea. I hope to inspire moms everywhere that one great idea can become a business" -Lisa
