               Certificate-of-Origin:    Ocean Freight Shipments require on original Certificate-of-Origin;
                                         Air Freight Shipments do not require a certificate-of-origin.
               An Original Certificate of Origin is required for OCEANFREIGHT SHIPMENTS and

           AUDIO VISUAL AND CASSETTES: film, video and slides must be in English or Arabic
               and
               have passed censorship prior to the exhibition. They should be sent to the Official Local
               Agent at the address shown above at least thirty (30) days in advance, referencing the
               exhibition and including a Commercial Invoice.

           INSURANCE: The exhibitor is responsible for ensuring that adequate insurance coverage
           is in place while property is in transit to and from the exhibition site, in storage and, if the
           goods are to leave Qatar, while in transit to their destination. Neither official local agent nor
           the official international agent accepts liability for any damage, missing or short landing
           claims of exhibits.

           CUSTOMS DUTY and DEPOSIT
               Customs impose a duty of 5% CIF value for permanent import and
               A deposit of 7% CIF value for temporary import.
               Customs deposits are refunded upon re-export.
               $50: minimum Customs duty
               $75: deposit refund claim documentation fee per exhibitor or claim
                    applicable for US$ 150/- & above • non-refundable below US$150/-
               Customs Duty/Deposit is against CIF value declared in commercial invoice, but Customs
               may impose it own CIF evaluation;
               Customs will only refund deposits on items (a) bearing engraved or embossed serial
               numbers and (b) included on the commercial invoice and packing lists; and
               Deposit refunds require Customs’approval.

           TEMPORARY / DEFINITIVE IMPORT
                                                                                              -
               Temporary imports may be converted to permanent imports upon payment of a change
               in-status fee but not vice versa.
               Customs Duty/Deposit must be settled prior to clearance.

           DEMURRAGE/STORAGE
           Demurrage will be assessed if failure to adduce proper documentation prolongs Customs
           clearance. For sea freight, the demurrage-free period is seven (7) calendar days from arrival
           and for air freight, five (5) days.
