Yellowfin Calls for Participants in BARCs The BI Survey 13

Global Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics vendor, Yellowfin, is one of a number of
vendors invited to participate in the Business Application Research Center’s (BARC)
2013 benchmark report on BI – The BI Survey 13.

Melbourne, VIC, Australia, June 12, 2013 -- The vendor is seeking prospective
participants with first-hand experience using Yellowfin to complete the survey.

Complete the survey here: www.digiumenterprise.com/answer?link=1320-62VCGCCX

The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and is open until Friday 5th
July.

Participants should use their corporate email address to complete the survey, or their
submission may not count, warned BARC.

The BI Survey is the world’s largest annual survey of BI users, with last year’s
report compiled from over 3000 individual responses. The study gathers input from a
large number of organizations to better understand buying decisions, implementation
cycles and the benefits achieved from using BI software.

According to BARC, all participants will: Receive a summary of the results from the full
survey Be entered into a draw to win one of ten $50 Amazon vouchers Have their
experiences included in the final analysis

BARC guarantees that participants’ details will not be sold or passed on to any third-
party organizations.

The BI Survey 13 is strictly vendor-independent: “BARC does not accept vendor
sponsorship of the survey, and the results are analyzed and published without any vendor
involvement,” BARC said in a statement.

About BARC and The BI Survey 13: The Business Application Research Center (BARC)
is a leading independent software industry analyst firm, delivering information to more
than 3000 customers. As Europe’s largest enterprise software analyst group,
BARC’s core research areas include Data Management, Business Intelligence (BI)
and Enterprise Content Management.

BARC’s The BI Survey is an annual report based on the world’s largest vendor-
independent survey of BI and Performance Management end-users.

The BI Survey uncovers the truth about why real-world organizations select BI products,
how they use them, and with what success. It also compares the leading products on the
market across a number of headline criteria, such as performance, scalability and vendor
support. Last year’s version, The BI Survey 12, attracted nearly 3000 responses.
