Applying for Admission to UVU: Instructions for Non-UVU Students Planning to Participate in a UVU International Study Program STEP 1: APPLY TO UVU. Complete the online application at https://uvaps.uvu.edu/pls/prod/bwskalog.P_disploginnew and pay the application fee. STEP 2: OBTAIN YOUR UV ID. After 48 hours, access your UVU student account by going to www.uvu.edu and clicking on the UVLink icon. Click on the link titled “Find my UV ID.” The first time you log in to UVLink, your password will be your birthday (mmddyy). STEP 3 (for those who have never attended college): COMPLETE WEBSTART PRE-ADVISEMENT. a. Go to www.uvu.edu and click on the UVLink icon and log in. b. Click the “Student” tab. Once in the main menu, click “Webstart” and begin the pre-advisement session. c. Print out your completion certificate. For questions regarding Webstart completion, call 801.863.8425. STEP 4: SUBMIT ACT OR SAT SCORES AND TRANSCRIPT(S). Test scores are required for all students under age 21 unless you have completed 15 or more college credits. Send your test scores and/or official transcripts (high school and/or college/university) to: UVU, 800 West University Parkway MS 106, Orem, UT 84058. STEP 5: CONTACT AN ACADEMIC ADVISOR TO BE CLEARED FOR REGISTRATION. Contact an advisor at Career and Academic Counseling in room 402 of the Losee Center at 801.863.8425. When you speak with an advisor, list your major as University Studies. NOTE: You do not need to register for your International Study Program classes. We will coordinate that process after you have been accepted into the program and confirm which classes you will take. In addition, at the appropriate time we will provide you with information on how to pay your tuition.
