MARKET OUTLOOK FOR TODAY…

Key benchmark indices are likely to open higher to join the global party after data showed the US economy is out of the recession.
The Nifty futures traded as SGX Nifty Index in Singapore were up 50 points to 4829. However fall in Reliance Industries (RIL)'s net
profit, which reports its earnings after market hours on 29 October 2009, may cap gains.

According to data released by the NSE, in the last session, FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 538.25 crore while
bought index options worth Rs 386.56 crore. They were net sellers of stock futures to the tune of Rs 316.63 crore and bought stock
options worth Rs 0.25 crore.

Wall Street surged yesterday after government data showed that the economy had exited recession in the third quarter to post its
strongest growth in two years. The major averages all ended the day firmly in positive territory, just off their best levels of the day.
The Dow closed up 199.89 at 9,962.58, the Nasdaq closed up 37.94 at 2,097.55 and the S&P 500 closed up 23.48 at 1,066.11.

Stock markets across the Asia Pacific region were trading higher with the overnight rally on Wall Street on the back of a better-than-
expected GDP growth prompting investors to grab stocks. Improvement in Japan's unemployment rate and ratio of job offers to job
seekers are also aiding sentiment to a notable extent. Among other markets in the Asia-Pacific region, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia
and Singapore are up sharply. Shanghai, New Zealand, Korea and Taiwan are also trading firm.

Crude price rose after a report yesterday showed the U.S. economy grew in the third quarter, spurring optimism fuel demand will
increase. Crude oil for December delivery traded at $80.01 a barrel, up 14 cents in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile
Exchange. Brent crude for December settlement traded at $78.01 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange.
