RESEARCH INTERESTS
Research focus is on interactions between conditions unique to women’s reproductive health
(contraception, pregnancy, menopause) and chronic disease, particularly diabetes and gestational
diabetes.

    1. Gestational diabetes and prediction of future diabetes using biomarkers such as
       adipocytokines and sex hormones and diagnostic strategies for future diabetes
    2. Sex-hormone associated changes with menopause and diabetes in women
    3. Healthcare delivery for women with glucose intolerance
    4. Healthcare delivery and epidemiology of glucose intolerant conditions and sex hormone
       sensitive chronic conditions in women
