Testosterone Deficiency and Alzheimer's Disease
I. Introduction Testosterone deficiency Testosterone is a male hormone. Besides promoting libido, it has other important functions such as maintaining muscle mass and forming bone, and regulating heart muscle and cholesterol. It also helps to improve the oxygen levels throughout the body as well as controlling blood glucose and strengthening the immune system. Starting at age 40, levels of testosterone start to diminish. The levels of the by-product prolactin of testosterone of men increases, stimulating the production of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase that causes the conversion of testosterone to gihydro-testosterones DHT thus triggering low levels of testosterone. Alzheimer's Disease. Alzheimer's disease is a brain disorder named for German physician Alois Alzheimer. Alzheimer's destroys brain cells, causing problems with memory, thinking and behavior severe enough to affect work, lifelong hobbies or social life. Alzheimer’s gets worse over time, and it is fatal. II. Causes Older men with lower levels of free, or unbound, testosterone circulating in their bloodstreams could be at higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease (AD) than their peers. In fact, testosterone deficiency causes the accumulation of beta-amyloid, a toxic peptide in certain region in aging brain. Study show that testosterone decreases secretion of harmful beta- amyloid and increases secretion of sbeta APP alpha as result of neuroproductive effect. III. Symptoms 1. Memory failure. 2. Loss of ability to concentrate. 3. Reduced intellectual agility. 4. Passive attitude. 5. Poor or decreased judgment. 6. Problems with abstract thinking. 7. Moodiness and emotionality. 8. Inner unrest. 9. Loss of initiative. 10. Reduce interest in surrounding. 11. Hypochondria. III. Prevention and treatment

Men suffered Alzheimer disease because of testosterone deficiency are likely also have conditions of heart disease, aging, high blood pressure, high levels of cholesterol, weakened immune system and liver malfunction. Testosterone Deficiency and Prostate Gland
Starting at age 40 levels of testosterone start to diminish, the levels of the by-product prolactin of testosterone of men increases, stimulating the production of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase that causes the conversion of testosterone to gihydro-testosterones DHT thus triggering low levels of testosterone. Prostate Gland Prostate gland is a gland that makes and stores semen. It is located below the bladder and surrounds the tube that carries urine out of your body. starting at age 40,the levels of the by-product prolactin of testosterone of men increases, stimulating the production of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase that causes the conversion of testosterone to gihydro-testosterones DHT triggering prostate enlargement and other problems. Therefore in order to prevent the symptoms of enlarged prostate is to naturally impend the conversion of testosterone to DHT. Unfortunately, aging is not the only cause of enlarged prostate. II. Causes of enlarged prostate and prostate cancer because of testosterone deficiency By the age of 40, the levels of testosterone of men start to decrease resulting in the by-product prolactin of testosterone of men to increase, stimulating the production of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase that causes the conversion of testosterone to gihydro-testosterones DHT triggering prostate enlargement and prostate cancer. Excess estrogen seems to be the culprit in prostate enlargement that leads to the pathology and favors the development of prostate cancer. III. Symptoms of enlarged prostate and prostate cancer because of testosterone deficiency 1. Frequent or difficult urination 2. Dribbling 3. Urinary urgency

4. Discomfort/pain in the penis 5. Low back pain 6. Reduced urinary stream 7. Hesitancy before or during urination 8. Reducing sexual desire 9. Anxiety about having sex 10. Need to urinate often especially at night 11. Blood in urine 12. Burning during urine 13. Painful ejaculation III. Prevention and Treatment In this case, since the problem of prostate gland is caused by testosterone deficiency it is the urgent need to increase the levels of testosterone and provide nutrition for the prostate. A) Natural remedies for preventing and treating testosterone deficiency 1. Dark green leaf Dark green leaf juice contains high amounts of vitamins C and E. Besides helping to reduce levels of cholesterol, high blood pressure and regulate blood glucose resulting in improved blood circulation to vital organs in our body. It also helps to fight the forming of free radicals and rejuvenates our cell and cleans up the clogged up receptor sites that helps to raise levels of testosterone. 2.Goat Meat Goat meat contains high amounts of protein, iron, magnesium, and zinc. Iron specifically offers the added benefit of raising levels of oxygen in the blood that is essential for providing nutrition to cell needs. High protein and zinc are two nutrients that help to optimize free testosterone levels and muscle-building. 3. Cold water fish Besides plenty of omega 3, cold water fish is an excellent source of vitamin A and zinc that help the binding of sex hormones, specifically testosterone and estradiol. 4. Muira Pauma Muira pauma are stems and roots of a ptychopetalum plant in South America. It has been used as an aphrodisiac, tonic and cure for muscle paralysis and strengthening the liver function that helps to cure the hormone imbalance in aging men. Study shows that muira pauma is a libido enhancer. 5. Milk thistle Milk thistle helps restore the liver function that helps to eliminate the

surplus of estrogen and sex hormone binding globulin that allow the increasing of levels of free testosterone. 6. Maca Maca is a vegetable root or tuber that grows in the high Andean plateaus of Peru at high altitudes. It helps our body to nourish the pituitary gland that helps to increase the production of our own human hormones such as testosterone. 7. Ginseng Ginseng in Chinese medicine is used as a pituitary strengthening herb. It also contains herbs that benefits the endocrine system in resulting of tonifying the entire endocrine system and helping the release of human growth hormone (HGH). 8. Horny Goat Weed orny goat weed contains a variety of flavonoids such as icariin that helps to relax the blood vessels leading to the penis, which allows them to expand resulting in a stronger and harder erection. It also helps to treat low levels of testosterone and increase sexual desire at the same time 9. DHEA DHEA allows our body to create other hormones such as testosterone. Study shows that DHEA is a precursor to sex hormones, the deficiency of DHEA causes the deficiency of other sex hormones resulting in a loss of bone density, increasing of body mass, hardening of blood vessels, and low sex drive. 10. Chorella Chlorella containing beta carotene and chlorophyll is a powerful antioxidant that helps to strengthen the immune system by blocking the formation of free radicals, improving oxygen levels for cell needs and nitric oxygen stimulating the enlargement of the penis through sexual desire. 11. Zinc and iron Deficiency of zinc and iron causes the depletion of oxygen level and poor circulation of the bloodstream as undirectly resulting in erectile dysfunction. Since zinc also promotes healthy prostate glands that increases the release of prostate fluids that helps to stimulate the sexual desire by increasing the production of levels of free testosterone. B) Natural remedies for preventing and treating prostate cancer and enlarged prostate.

1. Soy bean and legume Soybeans and legumes contains isoflavones and is a unique source of phytochemicals It directly inhibits the growth of different types of cancer cells and protects the prostate from being enlarged. Study shows that isoflavones were found to markedly inhibit prostate tumors in mice implanted with prostate cancer cells. Try adding soy or rice milk to your morning cereal or oatmeal. 2. Papaya Papayas are rich in antioxidants, vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin A, carotenoids and flavonoids that have cardio protective and anti-cancer effects. Eating papayas help to promote lung health and prevents the prostate from becoming enlarged and prevents prostate cancer. 3. Green tea Green tea contains the antioxidant phytochemicals called polyphenols that attack growth factors and proteins, interrupting processes that increase the size of tumors, thus preventing them from spreading to other parts of the body. Green tea also help to prevent the development of benign prostate hyperplasia such as enlarged prostate and prostate cancer. 4. Bee pollen Bee pollen is an antioxidant containing high amounts of flavonoids, zinc and many other elements needed by our bodies. It has an astounding record at reversing prostate cancer and other prostate problems such as enlarged prostate. 5. Glycine Glycine is also found in fairly large amounts in the prostate fluid and may for this reason be important in prostate health. It is required to build proteins in the body and synthesis of nucleic acids, the construction of RNA as well as DNA, bile acids and other amino acids in the body. Study shows that glycine, taken withalanine and glutamic acid help to reduced the amount of swelling in the prostate tissue. 6. Saw palmetto Saw palmetto is the number one choice when it comes to prostate health. This herbal remedy has no significant side effects and only rarely causes mild stomach upset or diarrhea. 7. Pumpkin seed extract Pumpkin seeds contain high amounts of zinc and fatty acids which is

necessary for the prostate's health. Pumpkin seed extract helps to tone the bladder muscles, relax the sphincter mechanism and recongest the prostate. 8. Uva ursi Uva ursi is an evergreen perennial shrub. It has been used since the year 150AD by various civilizations to treat urinary tract infections, kidney problems, Prostate, and bladder dysfunction. 9. Patrinia (Bai jiang cao) Patrinia helps the body get rid of prostate inflammation and damp heat that exists in the body. In Chinese medicine damp heat in the prostate could be caused by bacteria infection, drugs and other conditions such as a habit of eating hot, spicy or greasy foods. 10. He shou wu He shou wu contains several derivatives of tetrahydroxystilbene. These antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds may act as an estrogen, reducing levels of circulating male hormones such as DHT that fuel the growth of prostate cancer. 11. Astragalus root Astragalus root is a sprawling perennial legume. The Chinese medicine uses the dried sliced or powdered root of the plant to enhance immune function by increasing the activity of certain white blood cells, which increases the production of antibodies. It also helps to increase the body's resistance to infections, to heal the allergies, and to raise and renew the vitality. By combining the use of these natural remedies, it will help to raise the levels of free testosterone and promote a strong prostate gland. I hope this information will help in preventing and treating enlarged prostate and prostate cancer caused by testosterone deficiency. Click Here to Read More

Testosterone Deficiency and Heart Diseases
I. Introduction Testosterone and Testosterone deficiency Testosterone is a male hormone. Besides promoting libido it has other important functions such as maintaining muscle mass, forming bone, and regulating heart muscle and cholesterol. It also helps to improve

the oxygen levels throughout the body as well as controlling blood glucose and strengthening the immune system. Starting at age 40, levels of testosterone start to diminish, the levels of the by-product prolactin of testosterone of men increases, stimulating the production of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase that causes the conversion of testosterone to gihydro-testosterones DHT thus triggering low levels of testosterone. Heart Disease Most heart diseases are caused by aging as the levels of testosterone decreases as well as others such as high blood pressure which contributes to hardening of the arteries, high levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) build up in the arteries as a result of uncontrolled diet with high levels of saturated fat and trans fat. All these add to the formation of atherosclerosis lesions and eventually arterial blockage or anything that serves to damage the inner lining of blood vessels and impedes the transportation of oxygen and nutrition to the heart can be defined as a risk of heart disease. II. Heart Diseases caused by testosterone deficiency The heart has many testosterone receptor sites that helps to support the muscle building of the heart and protein synthesis, as well as coronary artery dilation, and maintains healthy cholesterol. As men age, the levels of testosterone decreases that weakens the heart muscle study shows that symptoms and EKG measurement improve when low testosterone are increased. III. The effects of heart disease caused by testosterone deficiency 1. Blood pressure rises. The drop of testosterone in men may eventually cause the estrogen levels to be higher than the testosterone levels resulting in high blood pressure. 2. Coronary artery elasticity diminishes. Since testosterone is not only responsible for maintaining heart muscle protein synthesis, it is also a promoter of coronary artery dilation. The dropping of levels of testosterone as a result of the heart no longer maintaining the function of artery dilation and artery elasticity diminishes. 3. Rising of bad cholesterol, fibrinogen and triglycerides. Since the heart is weakened caused by low levels of testosterone, the heart is no longer able to maintain its function as cholesterol, fibrinogen and triglycerides resulting in cholesterol build up in the arteries and high levels of fibrinogen and triglycerides in the

bloodstream. 4. Insulin resistance. Low levels of testosterone causes malfunction of the receptor site resulting in cells unable to take in food particles through points of receptor sites. 5. Abdominal fat increases. Fat cells create aromatase enzymes that contribute to fat build up and low levels of testosterone that allows the forming of abdominal fat that produces more aromatase enzyme resulting in more formation of estrogen. It also causes insulin resistance by increasing fat around the stomach/waist area and fat mass. 6. Human growth hormone declines. Levels of testosterone declines as men age. IV. Prevention and treatment The natural remedies uses included 1. Raw dark green leaf juice The fresh raw dark green leaf juices are vitally important in the nutritional treatment of testosterone deficiency and Alzheimer's disease. Raw dark green leaf juice contains high amounts of vitamin C, bioflavonoids, carotenoids, and living plant enzymes to aid digestion & vitamin K resulting in cleansing of liver toxins as well as strengthening the immune system, helping to detoxify your body resulting in reversing the progressing of aging and other form of diseases. 2. Cold water fish Besides plenty of omega 3, cold water fish is an excellent source of vitamin A and zinc that helps the binding of sex hormones, specifically testosterone and estradiol. 3. Oyster and crustaceans Oyster and crustaceans contain high levels of magnesium and zinc that is a natural aromatase inhibitor playing a key role in regulating testosterone levels as well as improving circulation of blood to the penis vessels. 4. Saw palmetto Saw palmetto helps to promote prostate health and increase sexual stimulation. It also helps estrogen and estrogen receptor activity resulting in a healthy hormone balance, thus increasing the levels of testosterone in men.

5. 6. Cinnamon Bark The sweet and spicy taste of cinnamon bark is considered to have a very hot energy. In Chinese medicine, cinnamon bark increases the Yang energy and sexual vitality. 7. Ginkgo biloba Unlike aspirin, Ginkgo biloba will not cause upset stomach and internal bleeding. Also, Ginkgo biloba can improve blood circulation. Be sure not to take Ginkgo seeds because they are toxic and can cause seizures. 8. Zinc and iron Zinc and iron together helps to increase oxygen levels, produce more red blood cells, as well as aiding the circulation of the bloodstream. 9. Lutein Study shows that people that have alot of lutein in their blood stream see no increase in the thickness of their carotid arteries. That means LDL cholesterol have not oxidized causing formation of dangerous plaque at their arteries wall leading to heart attacks and lowering cholesterol levels. 10. Chorella Chlorella containing beta carotene, chlorophyll and other many nutritional supplements is a powerful antioxidant that helps to strengthen the immune system by blocking the formation of free radicals, improving oxygen levels for cell needs and nitric oxygen stimulating the enlargement of penis through sexual desire and detoxifying your liver as well as the entire body. 11. Fiber Fiber can be soluble or insoluble. As we mentioned in a previous article, soluble fiber can lower your LDL and raise your HDL cholesterol while insoluble fiber has no effect on cholesterol but promotes regular bowel movements. The intake of fatty foods causes the liver to release bile into the intestines to break down the fat. The soluble fiber will help eliminate the bile instead of returning it to the blood resulting in reduced amounts of cholesterol in the blood.

12. Onions and garlic Garlic and onions contain high amounts of sulfur compounds that not only help to improve circulation of blood but also help to keep your platelets from clumping together. Daily consumption of both garlic and onions help to keep blood pressure and cholesterol levels in healthy range. Be sure to talk to your doctor if you are taking any blood thinner medicines. 13. L-Arginine L-Arginine helps to increase the production of nitric oxide in our body, this has an anti-angina and anti-stress effect upon the arteries enabling the muscles in the arterial walls to relax. L-Arginine also helps to prevent the build up of plaque on the arterial walls. LArginne taken either orally or intravenously has been found to prevent and reverse atherosclerosis, improving the functional status of heart failure and increasing blood flow in heart disease patients. 14. Taurine Taurine is an amino acid that acts as an antioxidant helping to fortify cardiac contraction and enhance the outflow of blood from the heart. Intake of taurine will reduce the risk of congestive heart failure and arteriosclerosis. 15. Flax seeds Flax seeds contain high amounts of alpha-linoenic acid that helps to lower high blood pressure and the risk of stroke. Eating too much flax seeds will cause gas to build up if you are not used to it. 16. Cayenne Cayenne stimulates blood flow, and strengthens the heart's metabolism. It also helps to improve blood circulation as well as the digestive and immune systems. Cayenne contains high amounts of beta-carotene, cobalt, essential fatty acids, niacin and zinc that helps circulatory stimulation, blood purification, detoxification and fatigue. 17. Du zhong (rubber tree bark) Du zhong is consider the primary herb used to increase the yang function in the body resulting in benefits of the heart. I hope this information will help. Testosterone Deficiency and Obesity

I. Introduction Testosterone and testosterone deficiency Testosterone is a male hormone. Besides promoting libido it has other important functions such as maintaining muscle mass and forming bone, regulating heart muscle and cholesterol. It also helps to improve the oxygen levels throughout the body as well as controlling blood glucose and strengthening the immune system. Starting at age 40, levels of testosterone start to diminish, the levels of the by-product prolactin of testosterone of men increases, stimulating the production of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase that causes the conversion of testosterone to gihydro-testosterones DHT thus triggering low levels of testosterone(source from testosterone deficiency and heart diseases). Obesity Obese men have high levels of both estrogen and estradiol, because of male hormones are being converted to estrogen when fat cells synthesize the aromatase enzyme. Study shows that fat tissues have been shown to aromatize testosterone resulting in increasing of estrogen. II. Obesity caused by Testosterone Deficiency Testosterone deficiency is caused by the production of aromataze enzyme in fat cells as well as in the intake of saturated fat. 1. Aging Aging people have great difficulty in losing weight because starting at the age of 40 the levels of prolactin increases, stimulating the conversion of dihydro-testosterone resulting in increased levels of estrogen causing enlarged prostate and abdominal fat in some men. 2. Insulin resistance Low levels of testosterone cause excess insulin in the bloodstream resulting in depletion of glucose and creating cognition of reactive hypoglycemia that generates a constant craving for sugar. Too much insulin prevents the release of fat, in other words causing fat build up resulting in fat build up and obesity. 3. DHEA deficiency DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is a substance made by the adrenal gland. It is the precursor of the sex steroids estrogen and testosterone. DHEA has some male hormone effects and deficiency of DHEA contributes to fatigue, poor concentration and diminished overall body functions and fat build up. 4. Aromatase

Aromatase is an enzyme of the cytochrome P450 superfamily, whose function is to aromatize androgen and produce estrogen. As men age they produce greater amounts of aromatase enzymes that cause the conversion of testosterone into estrogen resulting in male hormone deficiency and obesity. 5. Vitamins and minerals deficiency Vitamins and minerals are natural aromatase enzyme inhibitors helping to block the conversion of testosterone into excess estrogen. Vitamins and minerals deficiency levels block the pituitary gland from releasing lutein and follicle stimulation of hormone which stimulates the production of testosterone resulting in low levels of testosterone and insulin resistance as well as fat build up. III. Symptoms of Obesity caused by Testosterone Deficiency The obese men caused by testosterone deficiency have the: same symptom of the aging men as we mentioned in other articles, such as 1. Decreased sexual function 2. Loss of bone density 3. Graving for sugars 4. Loss of muscle mass 5. Overweight and abdominal fat 6. Memory loss 7. Poor concentration, etc. IV. Prevention and treatment Natural remedies used include foods, nutritional supplements, herbs and Chinese herbs that help to increase the levels of free testosterone and to lose weight. 1.Egg Egg contains zinc, iron, vitamin A, antioxidants, protein and testosterone. The antioxidants and testosterone present in egg have an effect in testosterone-boosting ratio of saturated fat to polyunsaturated . The high amounts of vitamins B5 and B6 in egg also helps to balance the hormone levels in our body and fight stress. Overloading with eggs may increase levels of cholesterol but eating one egg a day is ideal for vitalizing and regenerative effects resulting in more production of testosterone. 2. Cold water fish Besides plenty of omega 3 and 6, cold water fish is an excellent source of vitamin A and zinc that helps the binding of sex hormones, specifically testosterone and estradiol. 3.Yohimbe Yohimbe contains the compound yohimbine that has been used as a

major ingredient in several prescription drugs for impotence. Yohimbine helps impotence caused by poor circulation and emotional problems resulting in raising your testosterone levels and your libido and reducing appetite. 4. Saw palmetto Saw palmetto helps to promote prostate health and increase sexual stimulation. It also helps estrogen and estrogen receptor activity resulting in a healthy hormone balance, thus increasing sexual desire in men. 5.Tongkat ali Tongkat ali has been shown to raise testosterone by stimulating the leydig cells of the testicles to produce more testosterone. Tangkat ali also helps in supporting erectile function and ejaculatory function resulting in increased size of male penis and sexual desire. 6.Reishi Reishi is a supreme protector that helps to strengthen the immune system, anti-forgoing stress, improves blood, and qi circulation and memory. Reishi also helps to protect the liver from toxins and protect the lungs from pollutants as a resulting of eliminating the surplus of estrogen and sex hormone binding globulin and helping the release of human growth hormone (HGH). 7. Horny Goat Weed Horny goat weed contains a variety of flavonoids such as icariin that helps to relax the blood vessels leading to the penis, which allows them to expand resulting in stronger and harder erection. It also helps to treat low levels of testosterone and increased sexual desire at the same time. 8. Garlic Garlic is one of nature's superfoods that helps lower levels of cholesterol, normalizes blood pressure and increases circulation of oxygen levels in bloodstream. Garlic is also a stimulant that helps to increase men's libido by promoting the production of sex hormone in the pituitary gland. Please consult with your doctor if you have any bleeding problems before taking garlic supplements. 9. Zinc and iron Deficiency of zinc and iron causes the depletion of oxygen levels and poor circulation of the bloodstream as indirectly resulting in erectile dysfunction. Since zinc also promotes healthy prostate glands that increases the release of prostate fluids that helps to stimulate the sexual desire by increasing the production of levels of free

testosterone. 10.
