   We are excited to bring you the 2013 Nonprofit Salary & Benefits Survey and we are truly grateful for your participation. As you know, strong participation is the key to a reliable
   survey for your benchmarking. Thank you for making time to participate!


   Since 2001, MBL Group has been supporting our region’s nonprofit community as the sponsor and administer of the Nonprofit Salary & Benefits Survey. In its 7th edition, the
   Nonprofit Salary & Benefits Survey is the premier survey of wages and benefits practices for nonprofit organizations across Oregon and SW Washington. The 2013 survey has been
   carefully designed to meet the needs of nonprofits and provide a high level of value to the community. The 7th edition covers a total of 111 jobs and 15 benefits topics.

  The input forms have been protected to maintain the consistency of the documents. Please do not change the column widths, add or delete columns or rows or

  Completing & Turning In Your Survey Input Form
  You can complete the survey in any order, starting and returning to the survey at any time. You can click on the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet or the
  hyperlinks at the top of each sheet to move from section to section.
  Please be sure to go through the survey carefully and answer all of the questions that are applicable.

  Wage Data Input
  The 2013 Nonprofit Survey collects wage data on an individual employee basis. To enter your data, list each of your employees matched to a survey job. For
  example, if you have six (6) employees who match to the Program Assistant position, you will list each employee in a row in the Wage Data form, each matched
  to job 89, Program Assistant.

  Quick Tip:

  If you have an HRIS or a current spreadsheet list of your employees, you can cut and paste the appropriate fields from your list into the wage data input sheet.

  Definitions
                                                  Employee Count #: This will automatically appear as you list jobs. This is here in case we (MBL) need to follow up to answer any
                                                                        questions.
                                                             Job Title: Enter your organizations job title
                                                      Work Zip Code: Enter the work place zip code for the employee
                                             Exempt / Non-exempt: Enter E if the position is Exempt or N if the position is non-exempt
                                                Union / Non-union: Enter U if the position is represented by a union or N if the position is not represented
                                               Full Time / Part Time: Enter F for full time, P for part time
                             Regularly Scheduled Hours per Week: Enter the regularly weekly scheduled hours for the individual (such as 18, 25, 32, etc.); 40 is the maximum
                           Hourly Rate of Pay as of March 1, 2013: Enter the hourly rate (annual salary divided by 2080) effective on March 1, 2013 for the employee
                                       Variable Pay Eligibility (Y/N): Enter Y if the position is eligible for any bonus, profit share, gainshare or other variable pay; enter N if it is not
                                       Bilingual Pay Eligibility (Y/N): Enter Y if the position is eligible for a bilingual premium, enter N if it is not
                    Actual Individual Variable Pay (Annual Total): Enter the total amount of variable pay paid to the employee in the last 12 months (March 2012 - February 2013)
