The Multi-Functional “Salon Clients Journal” Version 2.0.3, is Available
on the Apple App Store Now
Introducing a major update to Salon Clients Journal™, a client management
tool for the independent styling professional, to bring the advanced
application of iOS™ technology right to their chair.
Chicago, IL, May 22, 2013 -- Available in the Apple App Store, Salon
Clients Journal is a tool to assist independent styling professionals in
building their business. It gives them technology to stay in contact with
their clients, optimize their chair time, receive realtime feedback from
their clients, share with their peers, and build their client
relationships beyond just a great haircut or convenient appointment time.
Salon Clients Journal is so social. It is full of features to enhance the
creativity and productivity of the independent styling professional,
setting them apart. It removes much of the administrative burden, adding
flexible appointment scheduling tools with the innovative “visual
calendar”. Salon Clients Journal includes client “before and after”
photography that provides the forum for “instant” feedback from the
client, while still in the chair.
Further social features include the ability to share photos with clients
via email and after obtaining a photo release, share with the Salon
Clients Journal Professional community. Users may view recent posts from
other stylists to share ideas, rate their favorites and view fresh style
feeds in The Style Center (including the newest cut and color ideas) and
all of these inputs may be shared with the client to help guide and
inform their styling choices. This allows the styling professional to
stay current, bringing the newest ideas to their clients and
concentrating on what they do best: helping their client look and feel
Salon Clients Journal gives independent stylists a technological edge
with state of the art appointment and communication management,
journalling previous cuts, color and styling, and allows the stylist to
build a stronger relationship with their clients based on past successes.
With the introduction in this release of the Visual Calendar, scheduling
an appointment for a client is reduced two touches, first on the Visual
Calendar where the stylist can see a visual representation of their
appointment overlap and then on the Done button on the confirmation
screen. The stylist merely touches the time slot they wish to schedule
and the default values for appointment duration, alarm creation with
default advance time already set in the Settings tab from within the app.
If any changes are desired, it's easy to edit the appointment, the editor
comes up automatically. The new Visual Calendar is fully customizable in
regards to default time slot to schedule (15, 20, 30, etc. minutes to
schedule, and the normal working hours of the stylist. Further, a
customizable appointment listing screen has been added to allow the
display of as much historical appointment data the stylists wishes. The
new Visual Calendar is the most advanced scheduling tool available in any
app for any platform.
Integrated App Settings (preferences) Controller has been incorporated
into this release allowing the rapid adjustment of application settings
right from within the app, saving the user time and providing a much more
advanced user-interface that Apple's Settings App because we provide help
text for every preference to ensure complete understanding of each
setting effect on App behavior.
