U of T Mississauga Staff Amateur Photography Contest

You are invited to share your appreciation for our wonderful campus by taking part in the second annual UTM
Staff Photography Contest!
The contest is open to all University of Toronto Mississauga staff. Participants may submit up to two photos
per category. Twelve winning photos will be chosen for exhibition in the Council Chambers, William G. Davis
Building, for up to one year. All winners will have their photos professionally framed and the framed photo
will be returned at the end of the exhibition period.
Submissions will be accepted November 15 – December 31, 2012.

Contest,” or dropped off/intercampus mailed in CD format to Donna Coulson, William
G. Davis Building, Room 4003
All entries must include the following information:
Title of work
A brief description of the work (what it portrays, intent)
Place where taken
Address and/or university contact information
Photo release form (photographer releasing UTM to use the photos)
Photo release form(s) (signed release from any recognizable people in photos)
Photos must be of the UTM campus and can be taken in portrait (vertical) or landscape
(horizontal) orientation and in either black & white or colour.

This contest is free and open to all UTM staff.
Entries must be submitted by December 31, 2012.

All submissions are the property of the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). Each entrant agrees
to allow UTM to keep a copy of the photograph in our database and to use it for future promotional
Please be sure to submit photos in a low resolution (72 dpi) format for judging. If chosen, winners must
be able to provide high resolution files (over 2.5 megabytes) suitable for producing a 30” x 45” image –
photos taken with a camera phone will not be considered.
