Basis for Working Parties • The Neighbourhood Plan must dovetail with the “yet to be published” Core Strategy in the area of Ground Based Planning; • Core Strategy is high level and NP fills in more detail (e.g. housing numbers and locations); • Scope of NP is wider and Working Parties have been set up to Reflect this :- – Planning, Housing and Design; – Infrastructure; – Youth and Families; – Mature Stratford; – Business and Tourism. • Questions – Assume next Draft Core Strategy released in Jan 2012? – Brief overview of what the Core Strategy Covers? – Are there any other Documents that provide greater level of detail? – How do we ensure that the two documents are aligned?. – Are there any issues that we need to be mindful of?
